Well, I was just invited here today and I was wondering if anybody here is a fan of musical theatre.

Personally, I've already begun my career in triple-threat. Musical theatre is most definitely the most important part of my life.

My favourite musical would have to be The Apple Tree. It's not well known, and there's no video/DVD version of it. It was originally done in the sixties, and was recently redone this year on Broadway. It was very good.

Anyway, what're all of your opinions on musical theatre?

I'm in love with musical theatre. If I wasn't horribly tone-deaf, I would try to do that for a living. But since you have to be able to sing to, well, sing, I'm going for the next best thing: teching for musical theatre, with strait acting on the side.
One of my favorite musicals is Zanna, Don't!, and I've yet to meet someone who's heard of it. It's a wonderful musical, really.

Unfortunatly for me I've never seen a musical on broadway, but I've seen Cats and a few others done at local theaters, and I've seen a few on video and I think they're wonderful. I myself am part of the Drama Club at my school and I take drama every year, I love acting but since my school always plays on the safe side we never do musicals.

My cousin Kevin is a part of a theater in Hamilton and they're going to be doing Grease soon, I'm looking forward to it.

I like musical theater, but I'm cheap, so I never pay to see any. I just watch the ones at my school. I used to sign up to assist as a member of the JROTC, which we would only really work before the show, during the intermission, and after the show. So we would always go inside the auditorium, and watch the show for free. Unfortunately, we'd have to do sentry (guard) duty to prevent people from going backstage in shifts, so you would miss a part of the play. To get around this, we would sign up for all the showings, so that we ended up seeing all of the play.

But I digress, my favorites are "South Pacific", and "The Sound of Music."

I also am a musician, I'm playing in my very first musical. The pit is so much better than on-stage, in my opinion at least... all the importance, none of the stress, you get comps, and watch the show free every night depending on where the pit is.
Don't know which ones are my favorites yet, though. I haven't seen enough.
