Jess had been happily asleep on her moldy futon when the rain started. she loved the rain especially at night, though that was before it startedto drip through the roof and onto her face. Frowning she got up and dragged her futon across the room. Not ten minutes had passed then it started to happen again. Swearing she grabbed the futon and moved it once more.
Dry again she managed to fall asleep for an hour before the rain got heaver and the roof literally dissolved, leaving her drenched and gasping for air in confusion of being woken from her sleep. A string of swearing followed as she pulled on her track pants and top over her wet pjs and grabbed the bag with her valubles in.
Muttering to herself she walked through the pouing rain to the dorms. She really did not want to call in this favour but she had her limits. She was not too proud to ask to crash for oe night.
Standing outside room 207 she breathed through her nose and wipedher wet hair out of her face before knocking on the door, hard.

Kayne was blissfully unaware of the rain outside as his attentions were directed towards the pretty Miss Pierce, one of the girls who had been more than happy to be his study partner for one of his classes. The evening had started in his living room, their books and notes spread out across the coffee table, but now he smirked as he took her in, spread out across his bed. Smoothing his hand slowly over her smooth bare stomach, he leaned down and started to place soft kisses along her neck and to her chest.
He had been thoroughly enjoying himself, as had she, when the pounding at the door drew his head up with a small frown. The girl had tried to get him to just ignore it, but with his infamous grin, he placed a soft kiss to her cheek and got up from the bed. Running his fingers through his hair, he didn't bother to pick up the shirt she had peeled off of him before they had moved into his bedroom and pulled open the door. He blinked for a second as he took in the soaked body before him and his mind began to slip back to some rather happy times. Giving his head a shake, he leaned on the doorframe and his smirk slipped over his lips.
"Just couldn't stay away, could you?" he asked watching her closely, the girl in his room nearly forgotten completely with this unexpected evening visitor.

Jess blinked as the door opened and a half naked kayne opened the door. It was a few moments before she realised she was staring at his toned body, she blinked again and tried to get her mind away from sex. God she needed to get laid, she could not think like this.
"I um, need to call in that favour." she said, her eyes wandering past him to the girls shoes at the door and the shirt on the floor beyond.
"Buuut I can see your busy." She smirked, looking up at him. "So, I'll go be at one with my car." She gestured to the hallway with her hand and took a step back from the door.

Kayne smirked and shook his head at her.
"I'm not going to let you do that Jess," he smiled and held his hand out to her. "It's not a big deal. She said she couldn't stay the night anyways, so I'll just call it an early one. Friends come first," he smiled and nodded towards his room.

Jess gave him a mildly disgusted look and shook her head.
"God, you've become one of them." She said, folding her arms and giving him a sensei glare. "No Kayne, you go back to your extra curricular activities. I'll go and see if I can crash on B's floor or something." She smiled and shrugged a little. "Have fun." She winked.

"Aw, come on Jess. Don't be like that," he smirked a little and stepped out of his doorway towards her. "It's really not that big of a deal." By then the girl had emerged from his bedroom and was stood in the doorway with a highly miffed expression on her face.
"What happened to 'just a minute'?" she demanded, picking up her shirt and pulling it on.
Kayne turned at her voice and arched his brow at her. Shyte, he thought looking between her and Jess, torn between convincing Jess to stay and smoothing the ruffled feathers he seemed to have created.

Jess laughed as the girl emerged and shook her head.
"Nah, go and play." She said, waving her hand. "Looks like you might actually have to work for it now." She smirked, nodding to the girl who looked a little trashy. "Heh or not." she added with a bitchy smirk. "I'll be fine, honestly. I'll catch you later."

Kayne breathed in deeply as he looked at the girl once more then turned his eyes to Jess. Smirking slightly at her catty remark, he ran his fingers through his hair and started to turn back to his room.
"Sorry Jess. I'll see you later," he smiled a little at her. His eyes lingered on her for a moment longer and he was suddenly very loathe to return to his earlier activities with the silly girl he had been romancing. Forcing himself to look away from her, he turned fully and walked back into his room.

"Yeah, bye." she smirked, shifting her bag on her shoulder and walking off down the hall, leaving a wet trail behind her. Sighing she walked in search of the staff dorms. Maybe Chiyo or even Yusuke worked there still. She smirked, and pushed her way through the dividing doors and towards the room roster.
Maybe there would even be a spare room she could break into and explain later.

Matias had run from the parking lot to the dorms, but it really hadn't mattered much. He still got soaked from the pouring rain. It always seemed to be raining here, he thought as he stepped into the hallway and ran a hand through his soaked black curls, shoving them back out of his face. Sighing softly, he started towards his room, his sneakers squeaking on the tiled floor. As he turned a corner, he arched a brow as his dark brown eyes fell on a seemingly similarly fated woman, standing before the room directory looking a bit lost and very soaked. Walking up beside her, he smiled as he glanced her over, trying to place her. It seemed like he had seen her somewhere before.
"Hola. Can I help you find someone?" he asked with an easy smile.

Jess jumped a little at the voice and turned to face the rather wet man. A lost person like herself?
"Um, yeah, though no really. The people I was looking for don't seem to be there." She smirked and brushed her hair from her eyes again.
"I've gotten myself into a rather stupid dilema." She admitted with a shrug. "I was staying over the dojo, which appears to leak so I'm searching in vain for some old friends I might crash with." She rolled her eyes and looked him over again. Hot. She thought randomly.
"Don't suppose youhave room to spare." She asked, looking up into his eyes and giving him a smirk.

"Ah, I see," he smiled and nodded as he glanced over to the directory. So that was where he had seen her before. She had been around the atheletic offices. A new instructor if he remembered correctly. When she asked if he might have a spare spot for her, he laughed a little and looked back into her eyes. She had -very- pretty eyes, he thought.
"As a matter of fact, I do. I have a nice big sofa that I swear upon my mother's head is the most comfortable thing you will ever sleep on," he smiled with a wink. "So it seems that tonight is your lucky night, Senora...." he trailed off, waiting for her to give him her name.

Jess smirked as he said he did have space and smiled. Well, well, tonight was her lucky night. Very lucky night. She thought, givving him one more once over.
"Montecelli, Jessica. You can call me Jessica." She said, nodding her head a little. "And this sofa sounds amazing. Please lead the way." She smiled in return to his wink.

Matias didn't miss the way her eyes slipped over him, though his smile never changed.
"Jessica," he repeated, his heavy accent softening the j as her name rolled off his tongue. "I am Matias Cevallo. Just call me Mati though," he smiled as he started to lead the way to the stairs. "You are new here, yes? I have seen you briefly in the athletic office, but I have obviously yet been able to introduce myself," he chatted amiably. It was nice to have someone to ramble on to for a change. "What is it you are in charge of?" he asked, turning slightly to look at her over his shoulder.

"Kyudo." She said simply as she followed him to his apartment. "Japanese archery, it's my thing. Used to teach martial arts too but I messed up my leg." She shrugged and smiled a little. "You teach soccer right?" She asked, suddenly remembering his picture on the staff board. "Sorry we haven't met yet. I'm not the most social person on campus."
