I'm mostly a fan of rock and what they call "emo" music.
My favorite bands are:
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
The Used.
The Almost
The Higher
My Chemical Romance.
Panic! At The Disco.
Boys Like Girls
Paramore
Hawthorne Heights
And alot more..
So, do you like any of these bands, or do you like different ones?

I'm more into j-rock and j-pop. I like listening to music in other languages because I don't have to think about the lyrics too hard.
I like bands like L'arc~en~ciel, Plastic Tree, AnCafe, Malice Mizer, Gackt, Ayabie, Miyavi, Maximum the Hormone, and others. In English I like a lot of pop music like Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, Fergie, and a few rock bands like Plain White Tees, Finger Eleven, and in general, upbeat, fun music I can dance to. Sad music sends me into depression. Dx

The Dessert Shark I'm more into j-rock and j-pop. I like listening to music in other languages because I don't have to think about the lyrics too hard. I like random bands. Like, some don't even sound like the other bands. I just find them catchy.
I can't listen to a band if the voice is bad. I don't lie country, screamo or rap. Some of my favourite bands ARE:

Something corporate ((Jack's and this band are the bestttt.)

I usually just listen to whatever catches my ear, and stuff I can dance to, although I often go out of my way to listen to J-pop and J-rock sometimes. And as funny as it may sound, I go music hunting for tracks off of DDR- the reason I love techno and J-pop/rock so much.
