The City in the Sky
A gleaming pearl of land that drifted silently above the Eastern Seas. It's high terraces, looming towers, and enormous spires are the envy and awe of all those who saw it....
Now resting at the bottom of the eastern seas, a shadow of it's formerly glory and beauty, never to be resurrected from its ruin again.

From the West, the continent is Isperia, came a dot on the horizon.
Moving quickly, the figure of Evanescent Cathedral was now apparent, if anyone were alive to see it's approach in the city. Not long passed before the Cathedral floated silenly above the perfect ruins. Beneath it opened a space where the Cathedral entered, forming itself perfectly to the scenery of the floating citadel, though it's coloring was not a match.

With all his energy, Blade staggered out into the main section of the city on his way to the Aetherean castle of Navr'etheron, the control point for the city's energy. "This is a crazy idea," he said to himself, "But I've no other choice."

Blade finally made his way to the core chamber of Navr'etheron, the control point for the entire city, and much of the world's ruined technology. He staggered hapharzardly towards where a raised platform stood dormant in the center of the room. He mounted the circular contol platform, and blue light erupted forth from it, and the entire core chamber was alight.
"Accessing forward control inhibitors, synthesis gathering chambers for the ---"
"ACCESS DENIED. SELECTED ETHEREAN UNIT IS NOT COMPATIBLE. INITIATING SYSTEM LOCKDOWN" The control room began to glow an incandescent red as it prepared for full alert.
"System override. Priority ﺽﺸﺬﺞﺓ. Retarget command unit, subject Ethen Salve'art'ron Darkke the Blessed Blade ad Infinitem. Assuming full control of Navr'etheron. Process Navr'etheron guidance coordinates, target: ﯓﻱﷲﻫﻅﷲﯠﯔﮢﯿ. Access priority fissure LENS cannon: Belcrant."

Moving slowly, Navr'etheron slowly approached the shore line of Cartheon.

She regains conciousness dangling on the edge of the city. "Well this is comforting." She folds up her angle wings and resumes elf form. She manuvers over the edge. She walks down the empty streets and finds the Catheadral. She runs up and bangs on the doors. "Let me in Blade...what are you up to?"

*as he races through the forest from the desert to the village, he notices an emense object hovering in the sky* WHAT THE!!? *in his shock, he trips over his own two feet and lands face first into a tree, ripping his face slightly*what the hell is that!! hmmmm*as he regains balance and begins to run again, he also begins to think*....hmmm after i get my supplies, I thinnk i have just found my next adventure *smerks*

From afar, Dante watches as a pinprick of shadow appears in the sky, drifting closer even as he chatted absently with the girl known as Art.
It wouldn't be long before the Blade was his.

The demon woman walked up beside the elven girl banging at the door. "Let me help you with that my dear." SHING!! Cruel's scythe slashed diagonally, clear through the door like butter. She kicked the door down with her crimson heel. "Shall we?"

The city was now 3 days from it's final desitination as it floated above the Ruined City of Cyrus.
"I'm going to need an Etherean," Blade said to himself as he examined the schematics for the Belcrant for the 472nd time. "And I know just where to get one."
