summary: everyone has the idea that summer love doesn't last, but for four boys, not only will they fall in love, but they will go through the trials and tribulations of summer romances and realizations.
author's notes: i'm hoping this fic will turn out the way i had planned it to. i don't really write chaptered fics, but i was inspired by my friend katraa to try and complete one.

SNEAK PEEK
♥ Sora smiled as the wind blew his chocolate tresses around. He threw his hands in the air and hummed to the song that blared on the car’s radio. He turned to the boy sitting in the driver’s seat next to him. “You, my, friend, are a freakin’ genius!” Sora yelled over the buzz of the radio. “Going to the beach for the entire summer was probably the best idea you ever had, Roxas!” he said, punching his friend lightly in the arm.
“Thank you, thank you,” the boy said. He ran his fingers through his dirty blonde hair and turned down the volume on the radio. “I just thought we needed a nice vacation now that we’ve finally finished high school. It’s our last big thing before college. After that, goodbye summertime and hello Twilight University.” A song he liked came on, and he began to tap his fingers on the steering wheel to the beat. “Plus,” he said at the red light. He nudged the boy beside him with his elbow. “Kairi told me before we left that she would be here too!” he teased.
“I thought you said she wasn’t coming!” Sora shouted in a slight panic.
“I lied. You can thank me later,” Roxas said, giving him a thumbs up. Sora frowned and reached over, bending Roxas’ finger backwards. Roxas winced. “Ow! Now that wasn’t very nice!”
“Shut up and drive,” Sora said as the light turned green. Roxas stuck his finger into his mouth and stepped on the gas pedal. Sora watched the trees turn into endless blue water. He rolled his window down and stuck his head out, inhaling the salty sea air. The sky was the color of his eyes; not a cloud blocked out the glorious sun. The ray warmed him, bringing a grin to his face.
“Hey, doofus. You are not a dog. And I’d bring my head back in, if I were you, before you hit the car I’m about to pass,” Roxas pointed out. Sora gasped and quickly pulled his head back into the window just as Roxas whizzed by the other car.
Palm trees lined the sidewalk, as did shops and diners. Roxas smirked at another red light as a couple of girls in bikinis jogged across the street to the other side. Sora smacked his friend in the back of the head. “Stop being a pervert.”

i like that you're taking it slowly with the romance stuff
although i think if you're going to have chapters this short, you should update more frequently, or lengthen the chapters that come rarely XD

like that you didn't start it out with an overload of yaoi, by having Sora like Kairi or whatever

Still loving it. Your very good, almost make me want to start writing again. (Scary thought!) Can't wait to see more interaction between Riku and Sora, and of course the all important 1st meeting of Axel and Roxes. Those are some of the best moments...keep up the great work!
