Oh yes definitely...that's another thing that makes this movie so different from the other Disney movies; there's no mushy stuff involved
mrgreen It's all about problem solving, suspense, and the fascinating personality that each character has.
And you have to admire the great Basil as a whole...how he's not just some overjoyed little mouse squeaking "This looks like a job for Basil of Baker Street! Tah-dah!" xD He's unbelievably professional, quick-witted, and eloquent (I couldn't understand half of what he was saying when I was five and somehow I could still see there was something intriguing and beautiful about him
redface ) I even find it interesting that he doesn't like having Olivia around that much in the beginning. He's not your typical warm-and-fuzzy-children-loving protagonist, which makes him even more human.
Oh and did I mention how hawt he is for a mouse....

LOL I'm such a dork but I get all caught up in this thing since I have characters of my own and I was primarily inspired by this film..I don't think I could have created them without watching this movie ^_^
