*The MANUAL*
I'm assuming you know the basic idea of RP
Let me begin by saying this. This is my first time role playing, well starting my own thread for it that is. I play a lot of role playing games, and I know a lot of story elements. This is going to be complex.
This story involves a war, so there is going to be fighting, inevitably. But I'll explain that.
Lets begin by getting your pet into this, shall we?

*THE BATTLE SYSTEM*
Ok this is easy.
Read the whole thing.
Each pet starts out with 100 hit points, and everyone starts out with 1 in each stat.
During the quest, you may encounter an enemy from the opposite side. Obviously, since it's a war. Naturally you have a two options.
-Attack (And pick your pet's attack)
-Flee (Roll 5 6 Sided Dice. If you roll 15 or up, you made it. 14 and down, you were caught and have to fight.
-How to create an attack-
I want this to be as balanced as possible. I mean you can't just roll a 1 and get auto-kill. If you wanted an attack with auto-kill (which I would allow) You would have to have some sort of restriction, like charging the attack for 3 turns and having to roll from 20-30 or something. Healing is also allowed for Angelic Foxes. I want you to be creative with this. Go crazy, but control yourself
xd -Attacking your enemy-
Begin by choosing an attack. Roll 5 6 sided dice. 1-10 is miss. 11-25 is a normal hit. 26-30 is a critical hit.
Missing- Your attack missed or your ability didn't work. Sucks for you, doesn't it? You just missed a turn.
Normal Hits- Alright, you got 'em! Damage depends on the attack. Look up to create one.
Critical Hits- DAMN! You hit 'em hard! Your damage is increased twofold! (2x)
-Defending-
After being attacked, you can dodge, block, or parry.
To parry- Counterattack with one of your attacks. If it is the amount of what the opponents dice roll was, you successfully parried. If lower, you were hit. If higher, you successfully counterattacked. IF YOU PARRY YOU CANNOT HAVE YOUR NEXT TURN!!!
To block- This goes by ability. Some pets MAY have the power to create a shield, but this needs a cooldown, and it must take your turn. It has to be balanced =P
To dodge- Roll 5-6 sided dice, if 25 or higher, you dodged it. *SEE LEVELING*
*THE PARTY SYSTEM*
You can form a party with a pet of your own alignment. All you have to do is ask them to join. It's always good to be in a party, you can heal each other and defend each other and such. It helps you stay alive.
YOUR PARTY WILL GO THROUGH THEIR OWN PERSONAL STORIES
Much like Kazuki, Xao, and Kiarra are currently going through. You can choose to link your party's story to another party, or you can choose to stay isolated. Also, parties of Good and Evil characters may party duel.
*COMBINATION ATTACKS*
A combination attack is when a few pets in a party take their turns and create 1 combination attack with higher attack power and a combined effect. Since this can EASILY create a problem with God-modding, there are many rules for it.
1- Basically, a combined attack is an attack which utilizes the attacks of the pets in a party to create one, big, combined attack on the other party. So, the sum of the 3 attacks will equal the damage done by the attack
2- Combination attacks are only useable when the sum of the party's HP is lower than 100.
3- You can take
2 effects for the combination attack.
4- If the effects are opposites, such as water and fire, or darkness and light, the elements cancel out and become neutral. So, if the effect was 5 light damage each turn and 5 darkness damage each turn, the effect is now 10 neutral damage each turn.
5- When you think up your combination attack, tell me so I can judge and see if it's too powerful, like everything else. Then, I will put it in your party's profile.
*SPECIALTIES OF THE RACES*
Angelic Foxes- The natural paladin. A great healer and excellent at head on attacks.-Alignment must be good
Demon Foxes- The warrior. These are the greatest fighters in the land.-Alignment must be evil except one, and first come first served =P.
Dragons/Phoenix- Use offensive fire magic to burn their enemies for a dreadful effect.-Alignment can go either way.
Unicorns- They use magic to bring others up with buffs and heals.- Alignment can go either way.
*LEVELING*
There are two ways to level.
1- Defeat pets of the opposite alignment and train with a master
2- Spar with someone of the same alignment
When you train, you can bring up points in:
Strength- Brings up the power of each attack by 5
Stamina- Brings up your HP by 10
Movement- Increases your chance of dodging and fleeing by 1.
Level 1-2= Defeat one pet in battle
Level 2-3= Defeat five pets in battle
Level 3-4= Have a party battle
Level 4-5= Defeat a pet 1 level higher than you with no party
At levels 3 and 5, you can chose a new attack for your pet.
At levels 2 and 4, you can improve a current attack by adding an effect or removing a negative effect.
Max level is 5.
Masters- To get to a master, you must go to the town. The master will then give you a choice of what to level, after a series of difficult tests. No, it cant be a single fight with a weak opponent. Level 5 is supposed to be a hard thing to get D:<
