can books make you happy? can they captivate you, make you do things that you never thought of doing? what are your favorite books? why?
Personally, I like the Dragonlance books. They're just stories I can get into. Great books, they are.

I love Dragonlance...that series got me into loving dragons and seeing them as something other than a monster in a fairy tale.
My favorite book would have to be Walden, by H. D. Thoreau. He makes life seem so simple and peaceful, and through his writing he made me want to be a better person...the kind of person that didn't worry so much and had a sense of belonging without actually belonging to anything. Of course he is a philosopher so I guess his writings would make me question a lot of the things in life that just don't seem quite right.

the Dragons of Pern series i like that when i was forced to read in school but i loved the dragons of pern so many different dragons in it
