Aleese was always a loner, she was never used to being around a lot of people, but that doesn't mean she didn't wnat to be. She always treasured each moment with other people. She loves to talk with other people, and she loves to simply be around them. Although, she isn't always welcome. Aleese is a telepath. She is also telekinetic, but that she has learned to control. She can't always determine when she will hear a person's thoughts. And, as a consequence, people distance themselves from her so as to secure their privacy. So you can imagine when she was offered a position on a pirate ship as a crew member, she all but jumped at the chance.
Aleese is a very kind person. No matter what she is truly feeling, whether she is hurting inside or if something is really bothering her, she always appears happy and cheery around other people. Aleese has learned, even though she can't completely control her telepathy, that she can always keep the person's secrets. She is a very trustworthy person, which is good in her case. She would never divulge a secret important to someone close to her, or as a metter of fact, someone friendly at all.
Some people see Aleese as too trusting. She is actually, very trusting. She puts her confidence in people easily, but it's never been problematic for her because she could always sense their intentions.
Aleese never knew her parents too well, which is, perhaps, cause for her gullibility. Her parents were killed by a band of rogue ninjas shortly after she'd turned seven, and her older brother, fourteen at the time, had taken care of her until he too, was murdered by rogues when Aleese was fifteen. By then, Aleese could take care of herself. Her brother had given Aleese her dagger and had taught her how to use it well. She'd taken her katana from a ninja that she'd killed as the possible murderer of her brother. Aleese is extremely kind to everyone, but she secretly hunts for the ninjas responsible for the death of her family.
