This is where we can chat about whatever. If anyone has a good idea of something to call it then let me know. It's getting rather late so my tired little mind can't think of anything creative.

Hey Malkut, I noticed under one pic you said, at work reenacting. Do you do that as a job? Is it possible? That would be a cool job.

hehe, I use photobucket for my online pics. I like it so far. I think that's probably what most people use.

I have a tech support person already, actually. ^-^ He's strange, but he's mine and good at what he does. So you're here to experiment? heart I love people who want to learn more about things. I started in basic herbalism because I got tired of watching modern medicine damage people. My dad was on a bunch of meds for a long time before we finally took a more holistic approach. It took me a long time to get him to take the stuff I bought, but once he did we found a lot of holistic ways to do what needed done. That, and my mom and I are allergic to harsh chemicals, so we found new ways to do things around the house.

I'm a little technologically challenged myself. I sooo envy people who can write html and stuff. I'm learning a tiny bit about it at a time though just from being on gaia. And I agree that modern medicine sucks. I've always been a wierdo with modern drugs. Allergic to ampicillian and doxycycline and I have been advised not to take motrin because it lowers my platelet (sp?) level just a bit more than is healthy (besides making me want to puke). And sleeping pills make me either more awake or do nothing. Are you guys like that at all?

caffine does nothing for me...at all..... -points to the 7 cans just from this morning of mountain dew- notta.
same with sugar...always been that way...
sleeping pills do nothing, because most of the time i can't sleep it's because i can't calm my mind, not because of a lacking in the body. so all sleeping pills end up doing is giving me ANOTHER thing to put my focus onto...which doesn't help with the sleeping thing at all.
though, i can't say i'm allergic to anything... because i'm not? i don't know...my girlfriend get's jealous because she's allergic to everything...while i can throw all the pollen i want in my nose and just get a mild sneeze...when she blacks out when someone is mowing her lawn...

And sleeping pills make me either more awake or do nothing. Are you guys like that at all? Meh, not me, really. I can take pretty much anything, but it seems that I have to take an antibiotic, and then I have to take a secondary antibiotic to kill the germs the first antibiotic can't kill, and then I need to take a painkiller-antinausea pill to stop the cramps the first to antibiotics reacted to give me, and then I have to take a stomach soother to stop the heartburn I get from the first three meds interacting... and I think "God, why didn't I just suffer quietly through this flu..." Zero_2005 caffine does nothing for me...at all..... -points to the 7 cans just from this morning of mountain dew- notta. same with sugar...always been that way... Maybe not that you notice, but all that caffiene and sugar are damaging the bone structure and the structure of your teeth. It gets into your bloodstream and while you might not feel the changes physically, they're there- it stunts proper bone development and makes the enamel and bone that does form, form faulty.

blech, I hate being sick. Whenever I'm sick I spend half the time showering or bathing and the rest sleeping if I can. Being sick makes me feel dirty.

I like being sick. I usually get feverish, which is sort of neat. but mostly, I like it because when I'm sick, then I get to stop being the "housewife" and be the "patient" who is pampered and left alone. *giggles* But in general, I don't mind being sick. Its one of the rare times I rest properly.

That doesn't sound to bad. Whenever I get sick it's always really bad flu or some gastrointestinal thing. Of course, in the two months I haven't been working or really doing anything stressful I have enjoyed the best health of my life, even with being pregnant, though it did make my stomach a little upset for a bit.
