Goodness! There are now so many Phoenii that the Nest forum is getting a little cluttered. There are now a set of rules to be followed when posting your nest. Please give them a read, and make sure to edit your nests accordingly.
You will have until August 1st to edit your nests, before we move them.
Failure to change your nests to follow these rules will result in having your thread moved into the main forum until it has been edited. However! We will allow a lot of flexibility so people can be creative. As long as you follow at least half of these rules, you're good. You can break half of them if you feel like it, as long as you're not giving people seizures with flashy lights in your nest, or have an excessively long title with 90% squigglies or something.
Exceptions to the "break half the rules if you feel like it" clause are: the Poll rule, posting in other people's threads, and the non-Phoenii image size rules.

The Nest forum is not only for showing off your Phoenii's certs. Remember to make some profiles!
If you wish to copy someone's layout, please ask them first.
Tracking RP points and family trees in your thread is optional.
A nest is required if you are trying for a Phoenix. You may want to track RP points anyway.
Do not abuse the shift key. Capitalizing the first letter is okay, as are occasional words. Alternating caps are not.
Do not post a ton of reserved posts without a clear reason. (eg. starting profiles on page 2)
Do not post in other people's threads. Illegal posts will be baleeted.
- No polls. They're making a mess. If you wish to count nest-visitors, please use a counter button.
Do not use excessive swirlies (such as ~, *, ^, etc.) in your nests. It makes it very hard to read.
Do not claim that your Phoenii are better than anyone else's. All Phoenii are equal in the eyes of TSP.
If your Nest has a declared gemstone (earned through RP points), it must be stated clearly in your title.
- Banners have a width restriction of 500 pixels. Be nice to people with small screen resolutions.
If you have lots of graphics (excluding banners, RP icons, and certs), you need a bandwidth warning on the first post.
All images must be in .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, or .png format. Bitmaps are strictly forbidden due to filesize.
RP icons should not exceed 150 x 150 pixels.

- Decorative titles, while nice on their own, are obnoxious when all the titles are like that.
Be creative with your nests! Tasteful, pretty graphics can go a long way.
Be considerate of your visitors; they're more likely to return if it doesn't burn out their eyes or freeze their computer.
We encourage you to put effort into your nests. If you want a full Phoenix, that nest better be nice, don't you think?
