Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions.


What does RP stand for, anyway?
RP is short for Role-Play. It's basically like writing a fanfic with your friends, except you only write what your charactor(s) is/are doing.


Where do I put my profile?
The starter of the RP will verify if they want you to PM your profile to them, or post them in the RP. They may also ask you to use a specific form. For quick refrence, you may want to post your profile in the Anime Charactor Hunt sticky.


What RP style do you guys like?
Preferable semi-leterate to literate. We know there are times when you really can't put more than one line or else you're rambling on about something useless like the bug that magically apeared out of nowhere on your charactor's foot.
Also, please write out action and put quotation marks for talking. It would also be very nice if you use punctuation Examples:




What's with the "(( ))"?
That's for OOC, or out-of-charactor information. It can be either describing something for the RP, or just idle chat.


Do I just jump into an RP?
Post your profile first, then wait for some sort of confermation from other RPers, please. It's annoying when you're in the middle of a dramatic scene and someone walks in laughing their head off.


Can we add humor to the RP?
So long as it's decent and not offensive to the other RPers, go ahead and put in as much humor as you want! It's good to have a laugh sometimes!


What's OOC?
Out-of-charactor. This can mean either when you're talking in parnteses ((Like this)), or if you are using a charactor (like from TV) who has already gotten a set personality, and you have them do something they normally wouldn't do. (Like having the tough guy suddenly break down crying because he stubbed his toe.)


I HAVE FANART! ...Where do I put it?
We have a stickey called .:Fanart:. Please put it there. Some topics may also have their own fanart post for fanart exclusively to that thread.


Oh, what pretty fanart! I must comment!
Slow down. Please put all comments on fanart in the Comments via Fanart stickey. This is so we don't have fifty pages of "OMG! I heart it!" And whatnot. You may also comment about it in the Random Chatroom.
