Hn hn, this makes the phrase console-seller all the more suitable for Halo 3.

Oh, how I will stab someone for this...

This is basically further pissing off current Xbox 360 owners and giving them no way to simply trade in for this other new model. They already spit in our faces with the Elite (came out two months after I got my Pro console), and now this...Why not toss out a new console type with every great game they produce?

Look for this new console in September. This new Special Edition contains these components:

-Halo 3 Special Edition Console
-Halo 3 Special Edition Wireless Controller
-Halo 3 Special Edition 20GB Hard Drive
-Halo 3 Special Edition Wired Headset
-Halo 3 Special Edition Gamer Pics and Theme (Exclusive download via Xbox LIVE)
-Component HD AV Cable
-Ethernet Cable
-HDMI Port
-Play & Charge Kit
-Xbox LIVE Silver Membership
-One-month Lbox LIVE Gold Membership
-Halo 3 game not included—sold separately (So it's just another damn space-taker on store shelves!)

It actually looks pretty cool, but it's not worth trading the 360 I already have for it. It comes with a lot though.

The only thing I'm worried about is if it'll have the same hardware problems as the other 360s. Because if that thing Red Rings on you, you better hope they repair it, because there's no way in hell I'd accept another a new console (Unless they'd give you another Halo 3 edition).

That's what I'm worried about. If you got this, and something goes wrong, could they repair it? It's special edition, yes? So...They won't have an unlimited supply of them.

Yeah, I know. If the damage isn't that bad, I'm sure they'll repair it, add a heat sink, etc.
But if it's completely trashed.... I don't know. That's probably something you would have to ask Microsoft directly.

Yeah. Eventually, they'll just have to say "...Well, we're out of those...And your warranty is expired, so...Would you be interested in purchasing our new Gears of War 2 Special Edition Xbox 360 Console?". XD
