There actually was a Touhou anime? Would you like it to be based on a specific game? Which characters (besides Marisa and Reimu) would you like as the main? Who would you like to produce it? Do you think it would turn out bad?
I think it should be a completly new story altogether with Marisa, Reimu, Patchouli, Alice, Letty, Remilia and Sakuya as the main characters. I think Kyoto Animation should do it because KyoAni is simply the best and would make it look prettiest above all~ I think it would be a trainwreck thoug because fans would have rieally high expectations so even if it was good it wouldn't be good enough.

If there was a Touhou anime, the A/M/C would be into Touhou. Not a good idea.

I finihsed my list of all the characters I think should be in it. xd
My dream cast:
Marisa = Mika Kanai
Patchouli = Minori Chihara
Reimu = Yuki Matsuoka
Sakuya = Aya Endo
Alice = Miyuki Sawashiro
Letty = Mikako Takahashi
Remilia = Rie Tanaka
Yuyuko = Yukari Tamura
Reisen = Yumi Shimura
Medicine = Houko Kuwashima
Hong = Ryoko Nagata
Yukari = Hiromi Konno
Sikieiki = Rika Morinaga
Long list but it would be awesome wouldn't it? Like a 26 episode series with Marisa, Patchouli, Reimu, Sakuya, Alice and Letty as the main characters and Remilia as the main character. 3nodding

You mean like the video that's in my profile? When I first saw this video I was going nuts. xd It would be nice is someone was working on the Touhou Anime Project, but for now, I'll setting with people working on the official manga =P

Yeah, I heard about when I was checking the comments on youtube. I have no idea how it could be a waste of time, I'm sure so many touhou fan would love it, then again, I think I should see how their official manga's story turns, I hope it's a good story.

ZUN wants total control over his series and "his babies". An anime series where he is not the sole writer, director, and producer would more than likely not meet his credentials.
