 Anyone else know about Lost Universe? Well i do! And I'm sure many other people in this guild knows what it is. Well.... Me and my little sister just opened a Lost universe guild! What the... is it some kind of alternate universe with the same characters, only they're in a futuristic space setting?
I better be in it as some sort of dark lord of red space aliens, or something.

I have the 5th DVD and it's freakin' amazing. Even the spin-off of Slayers in good...^.^

Lost Universe is by the same creator and it takes place on one of the other worlds that the Lord of Nightmares created, lol.
I didn't care much for it, though. ^^;

I just watched the first half of episode two on youtube, and I thought Kane was woman until he spoke. xd This whole time that I have been looking at pictures of him, I just thought he was this older Lina. I'd watch more, but they all seemed to be subbed in spanish. stare

Yeah, I dont care for it much either
It just seems like a big Mary Sue of Slayers.
So by the time I'm five seconds into it... i want to turn it off and just slip in a Slayers DVD and huggle Lina and say, "I MISSED YOU!!!"

When Kanzaka-sama first had the idea for Slayers he was going to make it a technical, rather than magical, show, set it in the future, and use Luna as the hero (Lina wasn't her sister, she was her younger clone...). I suspect he was trying to use that idea here, but because he had put so many of his good ideas into Slayers already he wasn't quite able to duplicate the effort. If you can watch it without referencing Slayers all the time it's not bad, but yeah, it's not Slayers either...
