Cute, but if your serious about your art, invest in some prismacolor pencils, their soft leads allow for really smooth coloring, none of those directional lines. They blend really well too. mrgreen

I am still learning in my art skills, which as of now are non-existant. I will take that advice though.

Do you take any classes? I don't know how much help I can be online, but if you want, I can help you out a bit, I teach a drawing class for children ^.^

Well, practice is key!
but if you interested in people or perspective, there are some neat measurement tricks I can show you.

I meant perspective as in buildings, making things look like they go back in space. Here's all I got on people right now, But I can help you out some more later.

The key to perspective buildings is to start with 2 things, 1)a horizon line 2)a dot (often outside the paper)
most lines (except for vertical ones) will come from this dot and will be what makes it look like its going back in space. from there its just working with a light source correctly. . . here's an example.
