SF for the Wii should be a prequel.

With James, Peppy, and Pigma.

eh?

It's an idea that has been suggested a lot. The only major downside to that game would be you would know the ending or have some idea how it ends. The storeyline will be predictable to a certain extent. Yes it would anser soem detials but you could just as easily put them in part of a game.

If they do a prequel I've a feeling it will be during the 8 year gap before Adventures. Not that there is another 8 year gap. Etyher that or before Command.

I think they need to sort out the ending a bit of Command first. Then prehapes if a company deceides to end the series by having Fox retire or crying die. Prequels would be an idea.

It should say the ending we've known is a lie or something and James is still alive.

No offence but errm in Command he is both considered dead and alive. So wether he dies or not it's predictable. They also may not need to go that far ahead in time. They could do it before Fox's birth.

one sentence to sum it all up...

IT WILL CAUSE CANNON CONFLICTIONS

the American storyline is a lot different than the Japanese version... heres why.

The Japanese version the details of the prior tragedy of James fate states he DID DIE, stated in a SF64 Japanese Manual translated with the help of Blink in the Arwinglanding forums. Believing in a spiritual sense in Japanese culture and afterlife there may be a possibility of him coming back.

And in the American version they cut this prior tragedy to a clean MIA that no one knows of what happened to the famous James McCloud. Thus meaning a possibility of coming back.

Now try explaining which one is better if they screw it up and only choose one of those methods... the SF fans would go in an uproar, because Cannon facts would be more irritating than the enjoyment of the game. It was bad enough they had problems with defining Solar as either a star or planet, something like this compaired to that issue is a tip of the iceberg.

so in conclusion best of luck but seeing things go out its less likely unless they pull their act together and pray to god we get the same people who worked on the past Star Fox games (Arognaught Software, Q Games etc.)

Yes, but Andross had a ghost, why not James?
And I want a prequel also.

With James, Peppy, and Pigma.

Oh well...um...one problem...really you would only have Peppy because everyone would shoot down Pigma for being a b****!

Andross was revived using the powers of the Krazoa through Krystal. The only other problem with that is that only Krystal could actually see him before he was revived. I think some Suarians saw him or sensed him but others couldn't.

I aggree with the Pigma thing. I have only met one Pigma fan even then I'm not sure if that person was joking or not.

Not for the Wii. Maybe as another handheld, ala the Kingdom Hearts spinoffs, but I think from now on the only new Star Fox games for the major consoles should be progressing forwards in the series.

I also think James is DEAD, and I'm pretty sure they said he was dead in 64 too. Y'know, "you will die, just like your father" and "you'll be seeing your dad soon, Fox" and "Daddy screamed real good before he DIED". Yeah. HE'S GONE. Maybe he shows up as a ghost, but that's it; he's a ghost. Notice how nobody else can ever see him?

a prequel would be awesome!

A prequel could be really awesome. Perhaps towards the end they'll show a few events before the first Star Fox game, maybe the team joining up together and getting ready for their career or something.

In command he showed up as a ghost "I am the ghost of Andross" all the time on Titania
