Along the beach is a long strech of road that is actually narrower than the sidewalk next to it. This is the boardwalk of the city, with an almost unlimited variety of shops and plenty of space to meander about or to just sit on a bench and relax. What will you do in here? Hide a body or just go for a stroll perhaps?

Arthur was curently sitting on a bench in what looked to be a pair of black jeans, a black leather jacket, a white button up shirt, and a pair of black boots to match. His white hair fell down the back of the bench in soft waves and stopped at about his mid back. he also had his right leg folded over his right leg at the knee. He was waiting for someone and he had his usual amussed smirk on his face as he watched the rising moon's reflection from the waves.

Nyssul wore her usual robes, what was underneath remained a mystery to the onlooker. She posessed two paper coner with large mounds of cotton candy on them. She picked bits off the pink one and popped them into her mouth. Sitting next to the dark clad man, she handed over the blue mound.

"A man up the way was selling them. I thought it was an odd time of the day for it, but what the Hell, right?"

The several days she had spent in the city were free of any other event of notice and she was beginning to relax a bit and even to think she might be permittied to stay here a while. Her broad, captivating smile showed off this new found confidence.

Arthur tilted his head slightly as he looked over and he took the cotton candy from her.

"Thank you very much. I take it from your rather jovial tone that you've been doing well?"

Then he pulled a deccent sized chunk of the cotton candy off before putting it into his mouth. It always entertained him how easily it dissolved. Then he put his other hand in his lap and his head turned to her fully, showing the alluring smirk and also the grey eyes that were so predatory, and so full of a life that most people found either disturbing or entrancing.

She nodded happily in response. Her eyes seemed to almost radiate her happiness.

"The animals tell me there is no sign of my pursuers. I ma clean and well fed for the first time in months, and I have made a friend. Granted an unorthadox friend, but a good one none the less."

She of course meant him, and offerred a nod in his direction just to be sure he understood.

"So, where have you been keeping your self recently?"

Arthur shrugged slightly before popping another bit of sugar into his mouth. He watched her for a moment, nodding back to offer a silent thank you for the compliment of friendship. The smile on his face showed that it was in his eyes a mutual ideal.

"I'd tell you but I must apologize for the level of secrecy. I can't afford to simply tell you. I still have quite a few things to set up before it would be safe for me to do so. But if you have the patience Nyssul I can tell you in the future."

He gave a sly wink, meant to jest and also so she hopefully would not be taken aback by what he'd said. Then he motioned towards the ocean and the reflection of the moon on its surface.
"So, what do you think of this place so far, now that you've had a chance to relax and can look at it with an even perspective?"

She swallowed a mouthful of the sugary treat and took his arm to walk along the shoreline.

"If there is anything I have in abundance its patience. As for the city, I've enjoyed the sights and sounds. I wouldn't say its fast becoming home, but I wouldn't say it isn't a possibility either."

Arthur merely chuckled quietly as she led him off. He was remembering when they were having their discusion from before and what she said it would take for her to find a place to call home again, and the notion made him ponder a few things to say the least. His step was measured, slow and relaxed as usual, and he bit a chunk out of the treat she'd brought him.

"Well one can only hope that your pursuer dies slowly and that you do find a place of your own correct? That or take steps to assure such a thing but that's none of my business. I've already spent an evening hounding you about that so I was considering that tonight I could orient you with a few things about this city and the two sister cities nearby. Interested?"

Her smile turned devious for a moment.

"Well, I do know a rather handy vampire for such thingsas slow, preferrably painful, deaths."

With the end of the crude joke her smile turned back into the pleasurable one she had been wearing.

"And yes, I'm very interested in that. I've been meaning to take a good look around, and who better to do it with."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 16, 2007 10:18 pm

Arthur merely smiled widely as he listened to her description of this connection of hers. Sure he did enjoy such an idea of causing pain. But it was something he wouldn't admit vocally or else it would shatter the facade of civility he put up on a nightly basis.

So he merely contented her joke with a pat on her hand before showing the devious hint of predation in his eyes while they walked before he looked ahead of them again, "Well first of all there are 3 cities in the area. Dollet is the one we are in now. It is, for all intents and purposes, the central city of this metropolis. It is where most of the business is and also the only one that is directly against the coast. The docks are just further up the beach behind us. Then there is Trabia; it has fallen on hard times so to say. The city is in pristine condition as far as apearances go but it's ridden with criminals and the gang syndacates run as much of the city as the governments. Then the last city is called Wayren; Suffice to say that the wealthy prefer this one since it has a higher cost of living. It's more of a corporate center anyway."

Now is when the vampire looked over to her with a rather curious, yet intrigued smirk, the same that had been shown to his prey on so many ocassions. A smirk that held the knowledge that he held most of the cards and was simply waiting for the other players in the game to show their hands.

"So where would you care to visit first Nyssul?"

She playfully acknowleged his carnivorous look with a glance that would defy anyone to test her.

"I suppose let's rought it first and see what trouble we can make in Trabia."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 16, 2007 10:30 pm

Arthur merely smiled a toothy smile, though his fangs did not show for now, as h led her towards a red sedan with tinted windows. "Excellent. I think I know just the place then. I suppose though that I should ask just how much trouble you would believe to be too much?"

His voice was polite as usual, though there was that same intrigue, as though he knew what was going to happen and once she played her hand, she would probably be playing right into what he wanted. It was almost as if the deck was stacked in his favor already.

She thought for a moment at they got in the vehicle.

"Let's just not go fighting helicopters. Once in a week is plenty of that."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 16, 2007 10:38 pm

Arthur opened the passenger side door for her and would hold it open until was had sat inside, though his tone of voice was now a bit more playful than insidious as he spoke, "Helicopters are out then. That just leaves gang-members, tanks, and high powered exposives." He was only kidding of course...

Once she was in though he would get into the driver's seat and relax in the red leather of the seats before starting the car and waiting for her 'ok' that she was all set.

She buckled herself in and nodded her readiness.

"Sounds like fun."
