So how do rural (please replace with local stereotype here) mathematicians go to work?
They ride their proTractors.

That joke is so stupid. I thought people in rural places mostly work in their backyard (for farming) so riding to work won't be necessary.

As for the farmers not needing to drive to work, anyone who has actually lived on a farm can tell you that they often need to drive their farm equipment to the field which can be a ways down the road from their house. Even if the field is nearby they are usually so large that there still is quite a bit of driving involved, not as much as the morning commute in the city, but still...
