This area underneath the Akatsuki Base is where the members may train as long as they desire. The cave has many different types of equipment for the different types of training. The cave also contains various creatures to fight against, but they are just for light training.

At the centre of the training area, there are 9 statues, one of each Akatsuki member. When an Akatsuki member touches their statue, it will come to life and attack. Each statue has all the abilities of the original, bloodlines included, they can even use the powers of captured bijuu. The statues' only limitation is their unability to leave the training area, if they do they will only be teleported back to the centre of the cave. This is for Akatsuki members who desire a real workout, as the statues have exactly 4 times as much chakra as the original (Not including Bijuu chakra), and they will not stop until they are destroyed, at which point they would reform back at the centre of the cave, immobile once more, ready for the next training session.

When an Akatsuki member is killed, demoted to underling or replaced, his or her statue will shift into the form of the new member as soon as their ring changes hands.

Hitane's statue lept off it's pedestal, and looked around. For a second it stood still, then without warning, it attacked, forming a chidori in it's hand. The real Hitane dodged to the side, and began building energy for the Chidori Pulse, but before he could use it, the doppelganger used the opportunity to throw a shuriken, which buried itself in Hitane's left arm. Hitane grimaced, but the attack had cost him an injury, he might as well finish the job. He made a handseal, and the built-up energy blasted outwards from his body, knocking the doppelganger to the back of the room. The real Hitane wasted no time, he took the opportunity to form the Raiharetsu jutsu, and he also placed the Denkou blade on the floor of the training cave. The doppelganger got to its feet, and rushed at Hitane, who was hiding the Raiharetsu behind his back, then when the statue reached him, Hitane ducked under it's Chidori, and struck. Unfortunately, while he was at the back of the room, the statue had activated it's sharingan, and so expected Hitane's attack. It used body flicker to appear behind Hitane, and, grabbing Hitane's shoulder, hit him with a full blast of Chidori Nagashi. Hitane barely had time to cancel his Raiharetsu (to stop himself from being blown to bits) before he was shocked off his feet. Hitane landed 5 feet away from the doppelganger, and slowly pulled himself to his feet, bleeding and injured. The doppelganger smiled, and deactivated it's sharingan, sensing victory, as Hitane expected. As the doppelganger moved in for the finishing blow, Hitane made the final handseal, and even as the doppelganger's fist connected with Hitane's stomach, the Denkou blade levitated, then rushed through the doppelganger's chest, instantly knocking it out, causing it to break down and reform in the centre once more.

After what seemed an eternity, Hitane pulled himself to his feet, and retrieving his blade, returned to the main base area.

Torai walked in to the room seeing his new sensei and then gave him some of the scrolls he took from the main dojo. "Here," Torai said," these are some of them that I grabbed from the dojo."

Torai pulled out the scrolls for: Raigeki no Yoroi - Lightning Strike Armor, Ikadzuchi no Kiba - Lightning Bolt Fang, Raikyuu - Lightning Ball, Magen • Narakumi no Jutsu - Demonic Illusion • Hell Viewing Technique, and the Kokohi no Jutsu - False Place Technique from his pack and set them down.
"These ones sensei."

"Ah crap" said Hitane. "I'd rather train Torai, but I've heard that the Nibi guy is tough, I'm not going to let you get killed, otherwise I'd have to lead these losers. Alright, Torai, you'll have to train with those scrolls for now. Here.." Hitane took a scroll out of his pocket. "This is the scroll for Chidori. If you manage to learn those jutsu before I get back, start working on it. When I return I'll teach you a few more basic jutsu, then we'll work our way up to the big stuff." Hitane sighed and turned to Masshuu. "Alright, let's make this quick. In and out. Cloud village are going to be better prepared this time so we'll have to be careful. What's the plan of attack?"

Torai placed all of his effort into training to do the chidori. He had put almost half his chakra into it before he finally managed to do one chidori. when he had all ready used half it. Crawling to him bag he pulled out a pouch full of food pills put one in his mouth and got back up fully recharged. By the time he was done with the training of the scroll of chidori he had eaten 3 food pills. He then took the next scroll, Magen • Narakumi no Jutsu - Demonic Illusion • Hell Viewing Technique. He read and re read it munching on a pill, then finaly got up, he knew after this was done he would sleep for days on end but he didn't care. He made a clone and then tried to do the technique, which failed and failed again until he finally, after eating another pill, did it and put his clone into a genjutsu. next, Torai decided, he would have a clone battle.

A few hours later Torai woke up, due to the food pill. he got up and ate another one and then returned to the scrolls,still tired but he knew that he had to do it. He sat and picked up one that looked more simple and easier the Kokohi no Jutsu - False Place Technique scroll. He studied it and looked at what he had done. He had barely mastered chidori and the hell viewing technique and was now going to do something more simple now then he would take a nap, a long nap. He then made the hand seals and put the chakra needed. Then he made a clone and did it again to the clone. the clone saw instead of the statue a demon specifically the demon that was inside him and yelled, "No don't hurt me." then fell to its knees and went poof. then he decided to try the Kai - Release and had a clone do the false viewing one, which Torai released easily. Then he went to the main part of the base, to sleep.

"I've been recently studying the Suiton Element, but it might be a good idea to get someone with more experience. Is there someone other than Kisame who fits the bill?"
