She had bought Running with Scissors right before the movie was released in theaters, so I rushed through to read it in time to see it with her and friends.

I loved it. So, I thought 'what the hell, might as well buy Dry'. Which I also loved.


When it was time for me to fly back from college, I was stuck in the airport with no book to read. Luckily, Possible Side Effects was #whatever in the New York Times bestseller list, and I was able to buy it.


I have to say I was disappointed. Maybe I'm just tired of reading about his life, but I was hopeing for something different than just left overs of his non teenage, non-alcoholic life.

Has anyone read Magical Thinking? Is it also a recount of Burroughs live, or what? I don't know if I should try and get it or not.
