I got his first "letter" today.
It was more of a formal letter, and then he had a section where to put "a comment" but oh my gosh.
I got his address and everything.
How did you guys here from them the first time?
I never got a phone call.
He wrote that his phone card didn't work.
So~
Did you get a phone call?
Or letter?
Did you scream and cry like I did? xD

As I have told you, I totally freaked when I got Marc's first letter.
That very night I received a 15 minute phone call from him too.
You should get a call from him soon, since you sent him a phone card.

I still have the letters and stationary from my brother. We all cried when we got the first one. I keep them with my photos. Don't ever lose them.

I put all of my letters in order and placed them in a box with other memories that Marc and I had together.

I keep getting more letters.
Once a week. Looks like every thursday I get one letter.
=)
I put mine in a box with pictures of us.
Whenever I miss him, i pull out the letters and pictures, reading them over and over.
Makes me feel a little better.

Haha, GO NAVY indeed! My hubby is a Seabee in Kuwait right now. He's emailed a few times, called twice in the two weeks he's been gone. I miss him sad

Hey my husband is a corpsman, so technically he is navy but he works with and acts like a marine. His company is in iraq right now, and have been there for about a month and a half. only 5 and a half more months till he is home yay!!

I got a phone call before a letter. It was short and it was kind of scary. He was still on waiting days and he was scared out of his mind. There was no life in his voice at all. And his first letter wasn't much different. But I got a second phone call three weeks later and he sounded like his old self again. It was a great relief to hear the life return to his voice.

I got a phone call. I didn't expect to hear from Stuart for much longer, so I was really excited. I couldn't stop smiling. Fortunately, he's been able to call me pretty frequently, since he's been in Iraq. He's been there just over a month and I've been trying to figure out how to and what to send him in a care package. Our relationship is also relatively new. smile Plus I don't have a lot of experience with the military. I'm learning as I go, I suppose.

when my boyfriend was deployed for 5 months this past spring, he never wrote me a single letter but his job involved using a computer so i'd usually get couple of emails a week if not more. though this was before we actually started dating. i still wrote him a letter a week for his whole deployment. even though he didn't write back i kept writing because i wanted him to know that despite the fact we weren't dating my feelings about him were still the same and that i would still be there waiting for him when he finally came back. we started dating about 3 weeks after he came back.

She called me with her address and then later in the week I got a letter written by her. I was so excited... I carry every letter she has sent with me.

my boyfriend will never write me a letter, he explained what made him hate writing letters. so i'll only ever get emails from him, i've saved every email he's sent me.
