Isn't this the fifth Harry Potter movie? Anyway, I enjoyed the film as I have the others. Like you said a lot of things were cut out, but that's always the case when a movie is made from a book. I think Radcliff's acting has improved, as is the case with the others. The battle scene between Voldemort and Dumbledore was pretty good. It wasn't awesome, but it was pretty good. I think they picked the perfect woman to play Umbridge though. That was great.

Iloved it. The Lady who did Umbridge was perfect. I thought it was really well made. I liked how they made it darker than the other ones, course' it was like that in the book too. I aslo love the sence with Snape and Harry doing the mind reading stuff. It was really sad when they showed Snape's past! x33 Over all i did think it was a good movie, my 2nd fav in the series. The 3rd was my alltime favorate. I miss Lupin! crying biggrin D

Umbridge annoyed the hell outa me.. which is what she was suppose to do i know.. but still i wanted to shoot her throughout the entire movie!!! umm other then that for how long the book was they did a decent job at it. My friend announced half way through the film that Snape as a child looks exactly like my little brother lol.. its true too! It was a good battle at the end of the movie as well.. its about time there was some huge battle scene!!!

Because the lives of the wicked should be made brief I love all the Harry Potter movies. I do wish they'd included some of the other subplots, and I hated Radcliffe's hair. (I mean, it looks great on Dan, but it just wasn't Harry without his shaggy hair. confused ) But otherwise, Order of the Phoenix was pretty good.
(Assuming you are indeed talking about OotP, which is the fifth movie, and not Goblet of Fire, which is the fourth. Either way, I like them all.) For the rest of us death will be a relief

They picked the perfect person to play Umbridge, I also thought that they pick a wonderful Luna Lovegood, she was so cute! The only thing that I thought they could of done better was the death of Sirius Black, I thought it was a cheesy death and I wish they could of had done it better, but oh well. 3nodding

I liked the movie and I thought the special effects were really cool ( i mean come on, the Order/Deatheater fight...anyone?) but in my opinion it was unfairly short with far too much cut out. the thing that people don't realize when they adapt a book of that fame is that half the world has read it. And each person in the half world that read it has their own favorite part, so when you cut out all that footage and plot line you mess with people's conceptions of the movies...which ultimately messes with THE PRODUCERS revinues when the next movie comes out. I know this because personally, if the sixth movie isn't at least three hours long I won't go to see it.

I really liked it. As I liked all HP movies. It's normal that they leave out some stuff, the movie can't have 10hrs. wink
I'm so sorry I hadn't watched it in IMAX, in 3D. They say the fight scene is WONDERFUL in 3D.

It was ok, it was like the other Harry Potter Movies. Since I haven't read the series, I can't compare the movie to the book.
