Should I continue this Kingdom hearts FF? It's called Little Beach.

Little Beach

Summary: Sora Howell, Kairi Kole, and Riku Kastor; three of the best friends anyone could ask for. Right?

The white house stood in the evening light as the car drove
around the lake. Riku Kastor, a boy of seventeen, looked out the window at it in a distasteful awe. He glared at it, as if it really knew that he was glaring at it. Riku’s adoptive mother Riley looked at him in the mirror and sighed.

“Riku, Honey, at least just pretend you like it!” She said and he laughed a bit.

“I do!” He said and she threw an empty bottle at him.

“No you don’t. But we needed to get out of New York. You know we had to. It was getting Closter Phobic.” She said and stopped the car out front.

“Sure.” He said and stepped out. He looked at the house up close and heard a splash to his left. A boy’s head popped up on the other side of the lake and then another splash and a girl popped up. Riku snickered and walked after his mother. His old sneakers padded the carpet as the lighting hit his face he glanced away. His hair rested on his shoulders and he wore a casual button up shirt and jeans. His mother walked in, she had a small figure, but a bit taller than Riku at the moment, and curly brown hair and eyes almost as brilliant green as his. She smiled and patted his shoulder.

“Your room is right around the corner upstairs, okay?” She said and he nodded and walked up the stairs after picking up his one box. All he owned was in this box. He walked into the room and dropped the box on his bed. He opened it and set his ribbons, trophies and pictures on his shelf. He looked at the picture of Namine, Roxas, Axel, Hayner, Pence, Olett and him. He smiled and blew a bit of dust off it. Then he went to retrieve his C.D. player from the car.

As he walked outside, a girl with short black hair and a guy with brown hair were walking to the front door. He smiled at them and stopped in front of them.

“Hey.” He said and the girl smiled at him.

“Hi! My name is Yuffie, and this is Leon.”

“I’m Riku. Riku Kastor. Are you looking for my mom?” He asked and pointed to the house. She nodded and thanked him and walked into the house with Leon. Riku jumped in the car, grabbed his C.D. case and player and ran into the house to put it away.

Later, when he walked back down stairs, Riley was waving out the door and turned shutting the door.

“So. Do you want to order in? Or we could go out?” She asked and looked at her watch.

“I think we should order in. Is it okay if I go run tomorrow, say bout’ three, three thirty?” He asked and she laughed.

“Already back to running aren’t we!” She said and slapped his arm playfully. “Alright, but be back by five, or I’ll call every house around the lake and the police, CPS, Fire Fighters…” she looked back and he was gone. Riku sat on his bed and looked at his picture of the old Cross Country team at his old high school. Tomorrow - Monday - he would start at his new school, Little Rock High School. He pulled out his vibrating phone and looked at the name.

“Hey Olett.” He said opening his phone.

“Ri, how is it?” she asked excitedly.

“Well the house is horrid. But there is a beautiful lake in the middle, and it’s a bit too quiet for me. I don’t know how I’m going to get used to this.” He said and laughed.

“Hang in there Riku. Are you still going to run?” She asked, her voice dripped in laughter.

“You bet! Tomorrow at three o’clock!” he said and she laughed. Riku heard a call from the back ground and she stopped laughing.

“Well I got to go Riku. Talk to you later.” She said.

“Talk to you later.” He said and they hung up. He dropped his arm and his mother came in with his food. She smiled handing it to him and then left after kissing his head. He pretended to spew and she shook her finger at him in a naughty-little-boy type of manner. She closed his door and left him alone for the night.

Riku got up at three and started jogging down the dirt road and round’ the lake. He ran past small lake houses and docks all along the way. He was back in the house by four and Riley still asleep. Looking over the paper – which had just appeared when he ran up – he showered, dressed and headed out at seven for the bus. He ran up the road to where he supposedly was to catch the bus and sat down on a tree stump.

A silent talk started and he saw the boy with brown hair and the girl with red-ish hair heading toward him. The boy’s hair was everywhere, and it seemed he did style it, but made it go everywhere. The girl was in a tan t-shirt and longer plaid shorts. Her hair was cut in sorts of layers so it covered her right eye almost. The boy had on a regular blue t-shirt on and khaki cargo shorts on and black shoes. The girl wore green converse. They stopped in front of him and the girl smiled at him brightly.

“Hi. You’re that kid who moved into the white house, right?” she said and held out a hand.

“Yeah. My horrible abode. I’m Riku.” He said and the boy smiled at him.

“I’m Sora.” He said and waved with two fingers.

“And I’m Kairi. Glad to meet you Riku. So, where are you from?” She asked pulling on his casual dress shirt a bit and seemed to be in thought. “New York?” She asked and he laughed.

“Yeah. How did you know?”

“That was a wild; but lucky guess!” She said and laughed.

A squeak meant the bus doors opened and they hopped on after their little conversation. They drove up to a bit of a large high school. He went into the front office and got his schedule. His first hour was in room 217 with Mrs. Daine. He walked into the room and stood at her desk. The room went silent, and she read the paper.

“Okay, Riku, if you will sit next to Selphie please. But first tell us bit about yourself.” She said and smiled at him and pointing to Selphie.

“Uh, well my name is Riku Kastor. I’m seventeen… And I’m a runner.” He said and the teacher, Mrs. Daine smiled.

“Thank you Riku. You may take your seat. And welcome to Little Rock.” She said and he dropped his green side pack by the desk. He sat down and the girl next to him slid him a paper. ‘What’s your name again?’ he read. Grabbing his black pen he wrote ‘Riku. You?’ and slid it back. ‘Selphie. Cross Country or track?’ she asked. ‘CC, you run?’ he replied. ‘same as you. I’m on the J.V. team. You a varsity runner?’ he read. ‘yeah.’ He said and the bell rang.

“Selphie, you know where I could go to get some information about CC?” He asked putting his pen away.

“Talk to Coach Lenn. He’ll get you on right away. See you.” She said and left at a bit of a trot, probably to get to class.

“Kairi! O-M-G! There’s this really hot guy Riku who sits next to me in Chem. Now! He has gorgeous silver hair that goes to his shoulders and oh my god, he has the butt of a god, and hands, that look so soft…” She said and Kairi laughed.

“Yeah, well he lives across the lake from me and Sora. And Selphie, give him some space, he only arrived yesterday. Geez.” She said and laughed while they walked down the hall.

Riku walked into second hour, Algebra 1-2 Honors, and looked at everyone. The teacher, coincidentally, Mr.Block smiled at him.

“Hello. Can I help you?” He asked and Riku handed him the paper. “Ah! I felt like something was going to change today! You sit in front of Spiky over there.” he said and clapped Riku on the back. Riku looked and saw Sora - from across the lake - smiling at him. He sat down and looked back at Sora.

“So you’re good at math I presume?” he said and Riku smiled.

“Yeah. You don’t really seem the type to really have enough wit to be in here…” he said and Sora glared. Riku laughed and said, “Just kidding Spiky.” He said and turned around. Sora tapped him on the shoulder and Sora whispered over Riku’s shoulder, ‘You tell Kairi I have pet name in here, and you die!’ and sat back. Riku passed back some papers to Sora and the last one was a note. Sora read ‘Where can I find Coach Lenn?’ and Sora smiled.

After class Sora compared Riku’s schedule to his classes and realized they had the last three classes together. So they walked together and Riku called him Spiky all the way. As they turned a corner Riku ran into Selphie from his first hour.

“Riku!” He smiled at her and said hello, and picked up her books. “Sorry!” She said grabbing her books and running around Sora down the hall. Sora and Riku laughed and kept on. After school Sora lead Riku to the gym to meet Coach Lenn. The coach tested him and was completely blown away and immediately signed Riku up for the Cross Country team.

Riku stories don't really hit my interest, but this one sounds pretty good so far. Go ahead and continue with it. ^^
