I know for a fact that some people find it very difficult to read a classic.
Some classics I am the same way.
Though some entertain me.
I was just wondering if you guys are entertained by a classic
or are completely bored when it comes to classics?

eww! icky classics! I'd love to be able to read them..
but I just cant. I can handle all the 'big words' fine,
it's just the whole ancient feel to them! icky!

I have to read Mary Shelly's Frankenstein for a summer project for school and i didnt understand any of it at first with all the HUGE words but when i got into it a little bit more i actually kinda like it. Not done yet though

I adore many english and german classics,,,but not italian classics,they are so boring!!!Russian classics too...every character have the same name..

Well alot of classics are great. This is an age old argumet. Should classics be called classics with a these new books that get better and better all the time. Romeo and Juliet is one of my fav classics. Shakespears views in this partcular classic interested me, though Shakespears mind has always fasinated me. Also Jane Austens and Agitha Christy's work are.....far out?? confused

Classics are what make the best modern day books. Most of these are based on the issues of the classics. So no the classics are not boring.
