Okay. So I recently was told that I could buy a PS3 or an XBOX 360. My parents already have a Wii, so I don't need one of them, but I still don't know which one to get. And I can't wait until No More Heroes comes out.
List of my likes.
-Shooters
-GOOD RPGs
-Halo
-Fighting
-Blood
-Little Puffballs
-Final Fantasy
-Both Microsoft and Sony's creations.
But what I want to know is which system I should get...
Reasons for Xbox
-Core System coming out.
-Biggest gaming holiday season for it.
-The New extended warranty
-Overlord
-Halo 3
-Other games I can't Remember...
For PS3
-Pricecut
-Semi-big holiday in gaming
-George Forman Grill size.
-FF XIII
-FF XIII VS
-Metal of Honor
-Metal Gear Solid
Xbox is also coming out with a portable gaming device sometime in the near future, which may be worth getting too.
So please, debate as long as you like over the Xbox 360, or the PS3

360 has the better shooters. It's also got RPGs like Oblivion, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata. After seeing E3 though, both consoles look worthwhile.

Exactly the problem. I was going for the 360, but then E3 said 'Wait! There's PS3 games coming out soon too!' Stupid Morgan and Adam.

Normally I would say "Wait until Microsoft finally gives up and admits that they need to fix the 360 and that they rushed it"
....but we all know there's a snowball's chance in hell of that happening. Still they did extend the warranty so it's up to you
I would buy a PS3 (which would be easier since they dropped the price) but aside from my PS2 games, I wouldn't have much else for it to do.
Still, with two Final Fantasies and a MGS title coming out, I say go with the PS3

Microsoft did admit to the 360's having problems this E3, and offered a 3-year warrenty on all consoles, even those ones purchased before the announcement. And I said 360 is better for shooters, but then I saw this " controller" for the PS3. Hot damn >_>
