So what does everyone think about the new, vampire, storyline. Do you feel that vampires were a long time coming on Gaia or should they have been shut out? How do you feel about the Von Helsons returning? Does any one else find it odd that the vampires, the Von helsons, are named after Vampire hunters?

Von Helsons = vampires and I think that Ian is also a Von Helson. Why else would he have a grudge against the Gambinos, besides the fact that Johnny K took away his store and gave it to Ruby? Ian Von Helson. It has a ring to it, don't y'all think?
But I've seen a lot of plot threads in the GCD about how one of the sisters is a vampire because she has scars and her dress-skirt-thing is kind of evil-looking. And the other one looks fine, except she's pale, because she's supposedly a werewolf, because they heal fast. Edmund asked for garlic because it wards off vamps and supposedly he asked for the orchids because they ward off werewolves.
But that's just the most logical-sounding thread I've read so far. Or Edmund could be a paranoid freak and the von helsons are just so damn lucky that they got out alive and Ian-s last name is something totally different.
But either way...... Will Ian join the dark side?
OH! I just had a thought as I typed this! In the comic, Rufus asked Ian if he's been keeping up treatments. He said that they seemed to be less effective lately or something. At the time, I thought he was talking about physical therapy or something, since he was shot. But..... what if he's a werewolf? Like how one of the sisters suposedly is. And Edmund and Gambino are giving him shots of the G-virus or something to keep the werewolf down, but it was less effective?
Well, I could possibly make an entire HUUGE long post on all my theories, but I'm too lazy to type tonight.

eek Such insight! eek I hadn't considered the werewolf thing at all. It kind of explains why Ian would be locked up in gambino's mansion, and Rufus can't stay with him. I had no clue orchids were suppose to ward off werewolves. One Von helson being a werewolf doesn't make sense to me, they're twins and it just seems not right to me for one to be a vampire and one not to be. Pluss is you talked to then when they were doing the 500 gold collection both of them made remarks that were vampric in nature.
Ian doesn't seem like the dark side type with me, he may have a momentary lapse of judgment, but I think with him the forces of good will prevail.

Just because he's good doesn't mean he can't be a werewolf. I'm not sure HOW he would have gotten bitten, but if he was, then he obviously wouldn't want to be one.
Yeah, I understand the whole "the sisters are twins, they should be the same" thing, but take a look at their current avvis. Sure, it could mean that one sister just got hurt worse than the other during the building collapse, but the thread that I saw in the GCD explaining theories seemed pretty logical to me. *looks for the link* They can explain it better than me....
But also, the things they were saying could also be kind of werewolf-ish. "Out for a bite" Werewolves bite. "Looking delicious." Kinda self-explanitory. I can see how it's vampiric too.
Over all, I guess Ian would definitely not be evil. Or what the admins might do is show Ian transforming into a werewolf and destroying something and then in another update, someone (probably sasha) will go up to him and will be all like, "Ian, I love you!" and then he'll change back and be all "I'm dangerous, blah blah blah" and whatever.
