She ran as fast as her small body would carry her. The branches and thorns of the forest tearing at her as she ran from them. She could feel it still...the cold feeling starting in her neck as they played there little games with her.
"Run or die" they said as they released her into the forest with the dogs hot on her tail, laughing maniacally as she cried for mercy. She had to live.....make it to the family she had lost.
A blurred screen showed her vital signs...another showing her.....a reflection in the glass showed the face of a madman...torturing innocent for pleasure........the incarnation of the devil on earth.

She was still....there eyes examining her body as she lay in a state of drug induced calm. Her mind told her body to fight...to escape but it wasent listening.
They poked her and prodded her, injecting different liquids into her veins, making her wince and cry. The men laughed at her pain, feed of her fear.......
She fell asleep...a dream of light, an escape from the pain, a sliver of hope drowning in an ocean of hate. The realization of inevitable fate...she was going to die in the hell hole that these bastards had trapped her in...using her, abusing her....no, death would be a favor which they wouldnt offer her.........

Maria yanked the tape that bound her arms as she lay on the floor of the dark cell. She squirmed silently on the floor and cried. She could feel the cold of the machine in her head, it was reading her, watching her...controling her........
......an explosion shook the floor.....
