I think that our esteemed leader Haruki said his name was named it after a character in his manga or ssomething. I forget. but anyway, there's another character named "haruki" in some shojo i was reading about. Except that this haruki is a transgender. sweatdrop ehehehe~ xd In other news, did you know the name 'haruki' can have multiple meanings? Haru-ki: "Spring, Tree/spirit" Ha-ru-ki: "Edge/Tooth, Bent, Tree/spirit" depending on whether or not it's japanese of course. And what kanji you use. 3nodding I can only completely write the first translation in japanese so take your pick on whichever one is nicer-loking. xd Spirit Tree

No, no, no, my name was the first character I created in a manga I was working on like 5 years ago (which ended up being a "team hero" story, and I got bored with it). Anyway when I looked it up in a baby name book (where I get most my characters' names), it said that it meant "shining," but the other translations aren't so bad.

It could be a skew off from the anime/manga Gintama, or it could be a reference to testicles. rofl

(even though they didn't go out and outrigt say "kintama," kintoki was enough to refer to it). Anyway, my team-hero story actually was stolen (I swear) by chronicles of the cursed sword... it made me want to punch people in the face.

But your story was sorta like that one, haruki? sad Too bad. A lot of mangas are just copies of older ones that folks've forgotten. all the good ideas have been taken. hence the creation of SPORT mangas. talk2hand

I guess manga ka need something to write about, even if it is Sports.
