Hidden Sand Ninjutsu Techniques:

Kai - Release
Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Spiritualism Technique
A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals and objects to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows him to summon different size and skill levels of creature.

Chakra no Tate - Chakra Shield
Chakra no Tate is a Ninjutsu technique used by puppet masters. This shield is created when chakra is emited in the form of a disk from panels which fan out from the puppet arms. This chakra can block many deadly attacks but some attacks, such as Satetsu can gum up the puppet joints and render the arms useless.

Dai Kamaitachi - Great Cutting Whirlwind Technique
Dai Kamaitachi is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Sand ninja Temari. Named after a mythical creature, Temari uses her fan to blow a concussive wind that is imbued with her chakra. This technique is a bigger version of the normal Kamaitachi no Jutsu, having the ability to cause a great amount of cutting damage to the nearby area.

Daisan no Me - The Third Eye
Daisan no Me is a Ninjutsu technique unique to the Sand ninja Gaara. Created out of sand, the Eye allows Gaara to view an opponent when he is either encased in his Suna no Muya or when he needs to be able to see his opponent's actions when he has no clear line of sight with his own eyes.

Doku Kiri Jigoku • Baribari Hyaku Renpatsu - Poison Mist Hell • Hundred Continous Tears
Doku Kiri Jigoku • Baribari Hyaku Renpatsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Kankurou. Kankurou will use this technique while doing his Kugutsu no Jutsu. This technique involves Kankurou using both Karasu and Kuroari. Kankurou will maneuver the two puppets around his target. He will then use Karasu to launch poison mist bombs at his target, enveloping them in the gas. Karasu and Kuroari will then launch a multitude of needles at the target.

Fuusajin - Dust Wind
Ninpou • Fuusajin is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Sand ninja Temari. Using her fan, Temari will blow a strong current which will cover the surrounding area in dust. This dust will serve to loosen the footing for any opponent who walks nearby.

Kairai Engeki • Kuro Higikiki Ippatsu - Puppet Theater • Black Secret Technique Dual Mechanism One Shot
Kairai Engeki • Kuro Higikiki Ippatsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Kankurou. Kankurou will use this technique while doing his Kugutsu no Jutsu. This technique involves Kankurou's second puppet Kuroari acting in conjunction with Karasu. Kuroari acts as a defensive puppet, capturing Kankurou's opponents. Kankurou will use Karasu to manuever his target unknowingly into Kuroari's opened chest. Once inside it will immediately close to prevent their escape. Acting quickly, Kankurou will break apart the limbs of Karasu, with each limb popping out a deadly poisoned knife point. These limbs will then jab into the slots of Kuroari, puncturing and killing the opponent trapped inside.

Kamaitachi - Cutting Whirlwind Technique
Kamaitachi is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Sand ninja Temari. Named after a mythical creature, Temari uses her fan to blow a concussive wind that is imbued with her chakra. When her opponent is caught in the wind, a tornado will raise them into the air and hold them with the chakra. The wind will then begin to cut the target with the sickling winds.

Kazegaeshi - Wind Return
Kazegaeshi is a Ninjutsu technique used by Shitenshounin member Kujaku. This technique is used to counter a Wind attack launched against Kujaku. Using her swords' ability to amplify her chakra and transform Wind, Kujaku will split the incoming Wind attack and take control of the whirling vortex. She can then launch it back at the ninja who originally created it.

Kazekiri - Wind Cutter
Kazekiri is a Ninjutsu technique used by Shitenshounin member Kujaku. This technique is used to divide and neutralize a Wind attack launched against Kujaku. Using her swords' ability to amplify her chakra and transform Wind, Kujaku will split the incoming Wind attack and make it harmless.

Kaze no Yaiba - Sword of Wind
Kaze no Yaiba is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Baki. After forming the needed hand seal, a cutting whirlwind will envelop his opponent and cut them to pieces. Unlike a real sword which can face resistance, the wind blade will be able to slice with little difficulty.

Kugutsu no Jutsu - Puppetry Technique
Kugutsu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that allows a ninja to use a puppet to attack from afar. Using their body's chakra, the ninja emits strings of chakra that run from their fingers to the puppet. The puppet itself can be loaded with many weapons and tools, allowing the puppet master to remain hidden while the puppet moves and attacks the target.

Kokohi no Jutsu - False Place Technique
Kokohi no Jutsu is a simple Genjutsu technique which changes the appearance of a nearby object.

Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu - Sly Mind Affect Technique
Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique which causes the target to travel around in circles. If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over.

Magen • Narakumi no Jutsu - Demonic Illusion • Hell Viewing Technique
Narakumi no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will use the serpent hand seal to cause a circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion.

Puppet Techniques (must be chuunin or higher to learn these specialised techniques)

Shirahigi • Jikki Chikamatsu no Shuu - White Secret Technique • Ten Puppet Collection of Chikamatsu

Shirahigi • Jikki Chikamatsu no Shuu is a Ninjutsu technique used by puppet master Chiyo that is said to have leveled a fortress. It is said to be her ultimate technique. With this technique, Chiyo will summon ten puppets, with each puppet being manipulated by one finger on each hand. These puppets were made by the first Kugutsu no Jutsu user, Chikamatsu Monzaemon. These puppets can be used to initiate techniques in their own right, such as the Sanbou Kyuukai combination, chain attack combos and hidden weapon emplacements.

Sanbou Kyuukai - Three Buddhist Treasures Vacuum Destruction
Sanbou Kyuukai is a Ninjutsu technique used by three of puppet master Chiyo's Chikamatsu puppets. The puppets come together to form a pyramid. After forming a hand seal, a great suction will draw in all the surrounding targets to the area between their bodies. Once the sucked in materials reach this area they are broken down into nothingness in the swirling vortex.

Chikamatsu Puppet Sealing Technique (Unnamed)
This unnamed Fuuinjutsu technique is created by one of the ten Chikamatsu puppets. This seal prevents the one sealed from manipulating chakra. There are two methods for this seal.

In the first, the puppet will expel a hazy orb from its mouth which can be thrown. While flying through the air, the orb will lose it's haze and grow in size to a huge gaping beast-like head. The large teeth can grab ahold of the person it hits and pin them to a wall. Once the it impacts the wall, it will immediately release the seal onto the surface.

In the second form, the main puppet will expel the seal from its mouth onto a surface it is touching.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu." Atsumi tried summoning a weasel again. And again a cloud of smoke appeared and cleared up. This time an older, and bigger weasel appeared. This weasel seemed more useful than the last one. "Okay, this is better...hey can you do anything special?" she asked the weasel. But the weasel shook it's head. "Alright so no special powers. Hmm...you can still attack and defend yourself right?" The weasel nodded. "Well I wanted to summon Kamaitachi but you'll do meanwile. And I could use you when spying without using a lot of chakra." The weasel happily wagged its tail, and left with a small cloud of smoke. Atsumi left the dojo.

Tatsumaki glanced at the genjutsu listings. She resisted the urge to rub her hands together in twisted glee when she read the Narakumi no Jutsu. "That's the perfect way to practice the Kai."

She placed her hands together and began practicing the Narakuni signs.
