Character Profile
Name: Mikael Tchaikovsky
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Height: 5'11"
Weight: Undisclosed
Ethnicity: Scottish/Irish
Appearance: While Bryan isn't particularly tall, his features may make him seem so at first glance. For the majority of his life, Bryan was always the thin, sickly looking child - while he may not look like he's about to faint constantly anymore, age has only made him more pale and solemn looking. Adding on to the events that have unfolded recently, Bryan isn't just pale, he's incredibly gaunt. His eyes have bags under them and are sunken into the sockets, the results of insomnia. You can clearly see his cheek bones, though this is more so due to genetics rather than his unhealthy lifestyle. While he isn't necessary 'anorexic bony' he's pretty close and definitely underweight. Surprisingly, he's quite strong, seeing as there's little of him other than skin and bones. If he had a regular lifestyle and diet (and gained some weight) there's a possibility that he could be considered lean.
While Bryan isn't really 'ugly', he's definitely on the more homely side of the handsome scale. With an overly large nose, sad, almost basset hound like eyes, and an unsmiling mouth, Bryan is a person who most avoid. The only striking, 'good' looking thing about him is his hair and the color of his eyes. Being of Scottish and Irish decent (or rather, of a stereotypical Scottish and Irish decent) his hair is a bright red hue, curly, and falls down to the nape of his neck. His origins are also apparent in his hazel eyes. Though they are predominantly green, the colors can change from teal to brown to golden, depending on the mood and, sometimes, the lighting.
Being born into money, Bryan has been able to purchase very good quality clothing. While he did care at one point in time, and thus has large amounts of dress clothing that is never used anymore, his need to dress nicely has diminished - more than slightly. He has no care to expand his clothing repertoire and, when he actually leaves his apartment, he dresses in a simple white dress shirt, black slacks, and tennis shoes. Maybe a hat, if the weather permits it.
Birthplace: California, USA
Sexuality: Strait
Likes: Beer, wine, champagne, Mozart (his cat), piano (in general), writing, solitude, animals.
Dislikes (and most likely hates): People, small talk, excuses, himself, sleep.
Personality: Bryan's personality is quite clear. He's an emotionally unstable person who just happens to be incredibly eccentric at the exact same time. While he was always the odd one out growing up, he didn't have problems conversing with others. While these conversations often ended on a sour note, they existed, at the very least. As he started to grow older, however, he began to see conversation as an unnecessary action that he needed not to take part of. People, such as his classmates, started to simply become obstacles in his path of life; sometimes, Bryan even thought of them as beneath him, unworthy of his attention. This way of thinking has made it incredibly hard for him to converse with anybody. It is very rare indeed to find him talking to anybody, other than Mozart, who he feels that, as a cat, is not in fact a person and thus can be talked to. People to him are just to much work - no matter how long you talk to them, they never listen.
For those who do have to deal with Bryan on a near daily basis, patience is essential. He's incredibly bull-headed and prone to flying into furious rages when he doesn't get his way. This, no doubt, comes from his childhood. Spoiled absolutely rotten and devoid of a relationship with his parents, it was easy to tell that he would turn out the way he did. While his temper and attitude may send some leaving in a hurry, there are others who know just how to deal with him. The best example of this would be his older sister. Though he's not easily impressed, he just can't seem to do anything easily or without a fuss, someone who can equal him in his stubbornness or has a fair hand with animals do catch his attention. Though he dares not show it, and tries to deny it himself, he has and can have affectionate feelings towards other humans.
While there are some that can win his grudging affection, nobody can humor Bryan Malone. His sister often says that he was born without the ability to smile - which is more or less true. There is rarely a time that anyone sees him enjoying himself. Almost constantly shrouded in depression and perpetual gloom, the only time he enjoys himself is when he's in his apartment writing or playing with Mozart.
