Wow, I never woulde have expected that one.

Hazuki from Moon Phase and Kaguya Houraisan.

That whole connection to the moon, being royalty and similar hair style.

Kaguya doesn't really count at all, since she is actually the most unoriginal character anyway. Her character design is taken straight from artwork of Kaguya-hime, a princess from an old Japanese folktale.



Kaguya-hime can be read about in this Wikipedia article. This entire story is the basis of the game Imperishable Night. In fact, at one point in the story of Kaguya-hime, Kaguya sends a bunch of suitors to perform one of five impossible requests for her (in return, she would marry whoever could prove they had done so). Because no one could do anything she asked, they all failed. In Imperishable Night, it is said that Mokou no Fujiwara is the daughter of one of those men, and she hates Kaguya for making a fool of her father. This is why there is a rivalry between them, as shown in, for example, the Overdrive flash video.
