Hilarious community satire VS spontaneous, interchangable jokes. Let's get it on!

The best episode of South Park is the one where all the kids want to be lesbians because their new, pretty, substitute teacher is a lesbian but NONE OF THEM KNOW what it is xDD

Best line:

Stan: Yeah!!? Well I'm the KING of lesbians!

But I could never choose between the two.

That's impossible.

I'm more into witty, intelligent humor with a dash of satire than random comedy wink .

I like Family Guy's random flashbacks and visuals for their jokes. I really like the chicken guy fights.
On the other hand South Park really pushes the limit in a good way.
I really like the scientology episode.

The scientology episode is not only one of the most controversial episodes, but one of the funniest (apparently, the more controversy they stir, the more hilarious the episode turns out to be; perhaps it's because we're laughing at the people who take s**t like that too seriously). The best part was with R. Kelly singing rofl .

*Votes for the Simpsons*

The Simpsons, IMHO, just became un-funny after the first five seasons. s**t, I don't even ******** understand the plot of the movie, and the commercials are always supposed to say something about the plot; they didn't. So quite frankly, unless Fandango gives me a good plot summary when it comes out, I'm not seeing it.

South Park, coincidentally, summed up Family Guy perfectly: a series of interchangable jokes likely pieced together by manatees, involving celebreties, that attempts to be satirical or teach a lesson, when all it does is provide a quick laugh or two, considering half of the skits aren't funny in the slightest.

Family Guy dove into unfamiliar territory when it tried to become like South Park in the way that it criticizes the United States for its practices. The characters it put forth, however, just weren't meant for anything but random comedy, plus the message, in the end, is clouded and detracted from with the constant intermissions and insertions of jokes, as opposed to South Park's clear and concise message that it sets forth.

/end rant

One- I'd say about up to season 7 not 5. Have you ever seen season 6 and 7? FUNNY!
Two- Homer Simpson must save the world from a catastrophe he himself created. It all begins with Homer, his new pet pig, and a leaky silo full of droppings—a combination that triggers a disaster the likes of which Springfield has never experienced. A vengeful mob descends on the Simpson household. The family makes a narrow escape, but is soon divided by both location and conflict. The Springfield citizenry has every reason to be out for Simpson blood. The calamity triggered by Homer has drawn the attention of U.S. President Arnold Schwarzenegger and Environmental Protection Agency head Russ Cargill. As the fates of Springfield and the world hang in the balance, Homer embarks on a personal odyssey of redemption—seeking forgiveness from Marge, the reunion of his splintered family, and the salvation of his hometown.
Three- I know that's not the most amazing plot summary, but the writers have wanted a lot of things to remain a surprise for the movie. It's the same as Brawl. Do you want to know every new character in the game? Of course not! Only a few or it will ruin the freshness. From what the people who have seen it have said, it's supposed to be as funny as the originals. Do you want to know why the show started getting less funny? They divided the writers into two groups. The show and the movie. And guess what? The movie group is funnier.
4- Sure the newer episodes aren't as good as the original but IMO they're still funny.
