Name: Cenek Asdis Age: 21 Nationality: French Hometown: Born in Paris, France; Raised in Portland, Oregon. Current Residence: Las Vegas, Nevada Occupation: Waiter in the Paris Las Vegas Talents/Skills: Cenek has many skills, gambling being one of them. Many times, he has doubled his entire paycheck with a few hours of blackjack(his game of choice). He is a master of the violin, though he rarely gets a chance to use this talent to his advantage. He's a thrill-seeker through and through, and he has extreme confidence. Birth order: Siblings: Viola and Josephine Asdis are his younger sisters. He hardly knows Viola, but keeps in touch with Josephine on a regular basis. Spouse: Cenek is currently not dating or married. Relationship skills: Cenek is a terrible person to be in a relationship with...sometimes. He has a natural charm and is very quick to flirt, flatter, or impress someone of the opposite gender. However, this is all for show. He rarely cares about anyone other than himself. He has trouble talking to anyone he thinks is lower than him.
Height: Cenek is rather tall, coming it at just 6'4". Weight: Cenek is somewhat slender, but defined. He weighs somewhere between 120-140 lbs. Race: Caucasian Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: A dark auburn. His hair is straight, and he ties it into a single ponytail with a small, black leather strand. The ponytail is kept short, never growing more than an inch past his shoulders. Glasses or contact lenses: Occasionally, Cenek sports a pair of slim reading glasses. Skin color: Pale Shape of Face: Long Distinguishing features: In a tuxedo, Cenek almost looks like a businessman. The green rolex stands out in every outfit he wears, however, as does the fact that both of his ears are pierced. He also wears a variety of necklaces and rings; aside from the fact that he almost looks like a model, the jewelry is what most people are drawn to at first. How does he/she dress: On the job, Cenek often wears a dark-colored suit. He often wears these suits while out on the town. When shopping or staying at home or working out, however, he wears a tee-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. Mannerisms: Cenek often scratches at the inside of his mouth, as if it itches. When startled, confused, or surprised he blinks exactly three times. Usually, he sneezes three times as well. He is foul-mouthed. Habits: Cenek smokes(he struggles to keep his breath fresh) and often drinks. Health: Cenek is in perfect physical condition. His vision is excellent, though since he was a child, smelling has always been a problem with him. Hobbies: Cenek enjoys collecting watches(he only wears one, though). He's a fan of timepieces of all sorts, and his apartment is riddled with clocks. He even made some of them himself. He also enjoys playing the violin. Speech patterns: Cenek will stutter when intimidated or scared. Style: Elegant, Flirtatious, Gaudy Greatest flaw: His attitude, his arrogance. Best quality: His body.
Educational Background: High School; 3.3 GPA Any Mental Illnesses: Cenek is on medication from time to time for his paranoia. He constantly feels like the world is out to get him or that the people he knows are talking and doing things behind his back. He almost has two personalities; the confident mask he wears when gambling or socializing and the paranoid broken down reality that is him drinking and staying on the phone all night with his sister with the tv on. Character's short-term goals in life: To live life to the fullest; money, women, booze. Character's long-term goals in life: To move back to France. How does Character see himself?: Cenek sees himself as desirable, loveable. Others, however, find him arrogant and annoying. How self-confident is the character: Very, unless he has a breakdown. What would most embarass this character?: Someone seeing him in his depressed, broken down state.
Mental Strengths/Weaknesses: His mental strengths are that he is not easily attached to others, so he can move from person to person without any lingering side effects. This is also a weakness, however; he has trouble keeping friendships because he doesn't attach enough occasionally. --His weaknesses are many. He is very paranoid, and one saying may send him into his nervous state where he often loses his cool and/or strikes(if with others; alone, he just breaks down). He believes he is better than people to some extent, but no longer believes he is godlike. He also can't tell when and when not to keep a secret, and cracks easily under pressure. Introvert or Extrovert: A mixture of both How does the character deal with anger? He can strike out, or break down, depending on the situation. With sadness? Usually, he breaks down completely, but he can sometimes move past sadness completely. With conflict? Varies with the situation. Internal conflict is yet another way for him to break down. With change? He tries to adjust, but often wishes for things to be the same they used to be. With loss? He breaks down emotionally. What does the character want out of life?: Lots of money and to move back to France. What would the character like to change in his/her life: The money. The women. His mental state. What motivates this character?: Money and acceptance. What frightens this character? Cenek does not like people who are bigger or prettier than him, but birds frighten him more than anything. The thought of dying does as well. What makes this character happy? Winning, money. Is the character judgmental of others: Very much so. Is the character generous or stingy: Stingy. Is the character generally polite or rude: Both.
Does the character believe in God? Yes. What are the character's spiritual beliefs: He believes that if one believes in God, and lives life a good way, then he will go to heaven. Is religion or spirituality a part of this character's life? No.
Cenek's Past and Recent History Up untill he turned 21, Cenek's life was meaningless to him. He was born in Paris, France and lived there with his mother, father, and two sisters. When he was 12, Cenek moved to Oregon, a place he had barely heard of before moving there. He often wondered why he had to leave his country with only his mother and Josephine, but later learned it was part of a divorce(his mother hadn't told him). He was suddenly thrust into a new culture, and by the time he was 15 and in high school, he was suffering nervous breakdowns almost every week. Distraught, he was finally expelled from his private school and forced to attend public school. There, his breakdowns were almost daily until he was finally medicated. In high school, he realized that he most definitely was better than everyone else. He was pretty, and had a few close friends during that time. After graduating with decent grades, he decided to become independent and work in...
Las Vegas. His dream city. Or so he thought; he imagined the money would be easy. He struggled with everything for two years. Food and showers were scarce during his first few months, but he finally landed a job working at a McDonald's. He left after he turned 21, and was instantly hired at the Paris for his skill, appearance, and accent(which he only uses when he wants to). He has been working there for nearly 8 months; every once in a while, he still suffers a breakdown. He usually turns to alcohol for this...and often calls his sister while he's drunk and watching some late night tv show. His social life changes from month to month, always hanging out or being seen with different people. He tried the dating scene, but he can hardly stand someone for more than a few weeks.
Getting There ((Yeah, I'm sorry. This is the part I'm most confused about, so sorry if I'm so totally wrong here...I'm just throwing out an idea.))
Cenek won a ticket to the location in Greece through some luck on the gambling floor. It was the grand prize, and just like every other time he gambled, he risked it all. Sure, it wasn't France. But Cenek didn't mind. He was going back to Europe at least.
Ideas for an Animal Cenek has never been really into animals. He does, however, detest birds. If they were feeling particularly playful, they could choose a species that matched his name. Which is why I chose it; It's not really a French name, however...
1. The Black Mamba 2. Egyptian Cobra 3. Some other type of snake
((I don't really have any ideas of how I'd expect the changes to occur, as I'm not even sure if snakes are being accepted.))

Now THAT was a breath of fresh air! Wonderful character - he's incredibly unique and multi-layered, and I'm really glad you went into intense detail with all his aspects. All in all, I love it. His personality would perfectly match being spliced with a snake (which I can and WILL do, I actually draw "snake taurs" all the time; although I simply call them nagas (and don't think the prissy anime human-toso-on-snake-body that's so popular; full anthro obviously)). Man, this type of character on Taurica Nesos makes this mess FUN. Totally approved! biggrin

I'm really glad you like Cenek. I put a lot of thought into him.
I'm having trouble choosing a snake for him, however; if you have any ideas as for what would make a good one, please tell me. I always picture his changes to be completely covered in scales, but with clawed hands(a naga tradition, I'm told) and a snake's face. If possible, I'd like to see what would happen if he kept his hair.
Is his way for getting there acceptable? I had a hard time thinking of a way. Either way, I'll get to the literacy test soon.
Yay, someone likes Cenek. That makes me so happy~
