Country Background:

The Wind country is marked by deserts and dry mountain ranges. The Wind Country is one of the larger ninja countries in the Naruto world, though it only borders Rain, River and several unnamed countries. Its western most borders are currently unrevealed.

Sunagakure no Sato Background:

Hidden Sand is one of the most powerful ninja villages in the world. The village was founded approximately 60 years before the start of the series. In recent years the country Daimyo sought to reduce the power of the ninja village. This caused the Sand leadership to join Orochimaru in attacking Konoha. Sand was double-crossed and eventually signed a peace treaty with Konoha. Suna has had what could be called bad luck with its Kages, with the Third disappearing under mysterious circumstances, the Fourth being killed by Orochimaru and the Fifth falling in battle to Akatsuki member Deidara.

Kaichi walked back into the sand villae with a sack on his back.

A young man with silver hair and ominous green eyes appears at the front gate. He is wearing all black and has a katana sheathed at his side. He has a slashed Sunagakure headband around his waist. His silver side-bang falls over his left eye as he approaches the village gaurds. He grins slightly as he is now directly between the two gaurds, standing in the gateway. Both gaurds immediately draw their katana, saying "You are traitor of Sunagakure!"

The young man stands perfectly still, his head tilted down. "Well...I don't exactly remember my crimes...but this slashed headband tells me that I was once a member of this village...", he says calmly. "If I came from this village then you know....not to let your gaurd down!", he says, lifting his head.

The gaurds step back at the sight of the young man's ominous green eyes. "Just come with us....there is no need for violence today...", says the gaurd on the left. The young man looks the left gaurd directly in the eyes. "I agree completely...", he says. He then does a single handsign behind his back. "Kokuangyō no Jutsu (Bringer of Darkness Technique)!", he says in a quick breath. To the gaurds it would appear as the entire area of their available sight has gone pitch-black. The young man then disappears.
