For you:

Title: The Point
Genre: animation
Rated: G
Starring: ...
Reason why you like it: packed full of valuable life lessons, narated by Ringo Starr and songs by Harry Nilson. "5/5 Smith-stars"

Title: The Fisher King
Genre: Drama/comedy/?
Rated: R
Starring: Robin Williams
Reason why you like it: ... wow. Definatly not 'family friendly', but incredibly . . . some word with a lot of meaning . . . Robin plays a psycopath who's convinced that he's a knight of God seeking the Holy Grail. His quest ends up impacting a few lives, hence the story...

Title: The Incredibles
Genre: 3-D animated comedy
Rated: PG
Starring: Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, and Samuel L. Jackson
Reason why you like it: I just saw it today and it kept me and the entire theater cracking up from the very beginning till the end.

More to come!

Title: The Lost Boys
Genre: Horror
Rated: (PG13 maybe?)
Starring: Keiffer Sutherland, Corey Haime
Reason why you like it: Great 80s music and fashion. Interesting cast. Humorous moments. (Plus, I just LOVE cheezy Vamp movies!)

Title: John Carpenter's Vampires
Genre: Horror

Title: Gangs of New York
Genre: Drama
Rated: R
Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Daniel Day-Lewis, Liam Neeson, Henry Thomas
Reason why you like it: Common any movie with the kid from ET in it has to be awesome xp But seriously, it's a really good movie - story, acting, visuals - all around just great.

Title: Napoleon Dynamite
Genre: ? (I'd say 'teen flick', but this goes so far beyond that shallow stereotype...)
Rated: PG
Starring: Haley Duff ( xp ), other than that, no one big... yet...
Reason why: Everything, and I reiterate, EVERYTHING, about this movie was awesome. The acting, the dialogue, the lack of plot, the small lessons to be learned every scene... True greatness in film.
