21st July '07_Hot and Boring_
Is it prudent to start with an apology? My computer was dead for a few weeks. And a Rae without her computer is a very dark Rae indeed. But hey, got some writing done...mostly 'All work and no play' type stuff, but actual literary creativity went on, too.
hm, I"ve been to five Major Chains and the public library looking for Imagine Me And You, put my crushed spirit in a mason jar, and decided that starting a private lesbian, etc, lending library wouldn't be a bad idea. And now that I have my beloved laptop back, *snuggles*, it seems even more plausable. And Rule of Rose kicked so much astericks, I wonder if there are any hidden scenes...

yes, that is definitely a great movie smile I'm surprised you couldn't find it... my mom rented it from blockbuster before she realized what it was, lol

25th July 'O7_Hot and Interesting_
I've just been given ownership of a guild. YAY!?? About an hour ago, actually, so let's see how that works out. I overslept and missed my little neighbors basketball game, BOO me! Skipped a party...yays, cause I don't like drinking xp and , oh wow, a lots happened, but it's always so hard to remember...
My Aunt's visiting from North Carolina, nice lady, she's a teacher. While she was here, she bought notebooks for all of the underprivileged kids in her reading class. She's leaving on Thursday.
My boss' pervo son yelled at me for talking to a friend in my booth. The girl I work with has been there three months to my three years and has her friends sit in my chair, takes half hour smoking breaks every two hours and forty-five minute lunches and NOTHING. Hey, who spoke to a packed meeting room in city hall on behalf of your mom's business in the first place buddy-boy? Certainly not any of her group. hmph. At least my friends attract customers.
...Sorry about the rantiness. But, hey, I've finally saved up enough to go into business for myself by the end of the summer. I won't tell you doing what yet, it's still a secret. *wink* And meanwhile, watching the sun rise over the ocean and set over the bay isn't so bad. And the smell of the sand and the ocean. *sigh* What was I angry about again?
You know Rosenal, all of that searching didn't even include Blockbuster, there's not one nearby, but everyone makes it sound worth hunting it down.

Lol well you do know blockbuster has an online movie program similar to netflix? Though it's better.. you know why if you've seen the tv commercials. Those are true. Have you ever looked to see if someone put it on youtube?

I'm putting in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow, and strangely enough, I'm happy about it. It's time to move on anyway, but that means putting off a few other projects until things are settled financially. It was a real experience, but everything that made me want to be there is gone, except the money, and that's just not enough. *ten second pause for melodromatic scene wiping away a single tear as I look towards the horizon*

Whelp, I did it, 2 weeks notice in. Wierd, I actually feel kind of sad about it. You ever get the feeling that your life was about to take a HUGE turn and there would be no getting back what you had before? Yeah, and my feelings have never been wrong, no matter how much I don't listen to them. I guess that's why I'm being so 'poetic' lately, just hoping that this push isn't going to be off of a cliff. And I finally read Secret Letters from the Rose Garden, and really liked it. Go, KAT, GO!
