Here goes nothing... must be maybe 30th character application I've done(in general, not for this rp
wink ) or somesuch, so this is no short story.
[Physical:] Name: Felicianezaramah Guna'Ramaj – or Felicia for short.
Age: 19, born 27th February 1988
Height: 168 cm / 5'5”
Weight: 56 kg / 123,5 lbs
Appearance: A bit on the short side and slightly stocky, but not fat nor muscular
Looks in detail: Felicia has long, wavy yellowish-white hair that extends down to her hips. She has the skin colour of a native Jamaican she is, but none of the tan, seeing as she has spend most of her life in the rains of New York. She has cute, small nose and small mouth usually in a smile that knows more than what she lets out. Her eyes are blue.
Not so much text, but nine pics.Clothing: She wears very little, only a top that is bound from a thick scarf of sorts and and a tied dress over her slighly wide hips. Only other alternative she uses is a very big and baggy white t-shirt and jean shorts, of which the shorts aren't even visible under the big t-shirt(see the avatar). The latter outfit is her “formal” wear, that which she used at school. On her feet are either gray sneakers or nothing at all. She is very much a “nature's child”, even more so for having grown in New York. On her neck she wears always a heart-shaped red-purple rock in a small-ringed metal chain. The pendant is from her (very dear) grandmother, and she never gets it off. Draped over her right knee is another family ornament, a rope in which a few old bones of an unknown animal are hanging. She wears a scarf over her forehead, to keep her hair from obscuring her vision. She also has a simple leather bag hanging from her shoulder where she keeps her little belongings.
[Mental:] Character of this “dramatis persona”: Felicianezaramah at the bottom of things is a good-natured young woman. She is the granddaughter of a very powerful, if little known voodoo matriarch. From her grandmother she has learned pretty much of the age-old “magics” - or at least, she can make people think she has. When it comes down to it, she actually knows nothing. Felicia, of course anknowledges this, but doesn't make anyone else think she is any less than what her grandma is. Her “magic” is nothing but grand words and big gestures, but if it looks magnificent, it might scare a person who doesn't know.
She does that just because she likes to fool around with people's psyches, nothing more. She intends no actual harm.
Felicia is rather fast to make social contacts, but not so fast in actual “friend-acquiring-process.” In other words, it might take quite some time for her to really, at the bottom of it all, trust someone so much that might tell even her deepest secrets(or even those not-so deep). Felicia is usually very clear on her feelings, at least to herself. She is honest to herself, even if not to others every now and then.
In the affairs of romance, Felicia has had some experience, most of it been short and to the quirky side. The relationship usually was cut short by Felicia herself because she's, more or less, waiting for the perfect one to come. If there is one - and even one is enough - thing she doesn't like about a person of opposite sex, she stops considering any relationship right there. This girl is picky when it comes to boys.
This girl is also somewhat sarcastic, but if people miss the point of her sarcasm, she usually points it out immediately. She doesn't want to hurt people's feelings, after all. Pop culture is totally lost on this girl, though. She has lived her life as much out of it as it is possible for one who lives in NYC; all her time not spend at school she kept practicing and learning voodoo with her grandmother.
Felicia's belief in voodoo is absolute, mostly because of her grandmother. She has witnessed more than once different sorts of “miracles” performed by the old lady. Felicia has taken to herself to find out the different “magics”, especially of the voodoo sort, and combine them with what she knows. She is more of a researcher than a magic user, but she could never tell that to her grandmother. Part of the reason why she left is actually that she couldn't take the pressure anymore. You see, her white hair – if her family is to believe – promises great destiny and great future. Felicianezaramah is less than honored by this, actually she didn't like it at all.
Felicianezaramah is very open-minded, and she is the first to venture into new things, to the point that she is the one to charge in any given situation headfirst. She likes trying to combine her high school knowledge with her knowledge of voodoo. Often with nothing but theoretical and impractical results, which she just shrugs off and continues like nothing happened at all.
Felicianezaramah is very often found listening to all sorts of music from her mp3-player, oblivious to the world. She listens to the music usually quite loud, to the point where people standing next her can hear the music. It's a wonder she hasn't gone deaf by now. She also has the tendency to sing aloud to the music, and only stops when she is asked to do so. For a while only, after which she starts again, oblivious to the words just minutes before.

Likes: Music, voodoo magics, being theatrical, being herself when no-one sees her...

Goal in life: To get know all the voodoo in the world, to see the world
Early History: Felicianezaramah's family has a long history of voodoo practicing. Her family moved from Jamaica to New York after work fourteen years ago, when Felicia was only four. She doesn't remember much at all of her old home, but her grandmother has told her very much about it. Felicia has also learned much of the culture back home from her parents and especially her grandma. Even in New York her family didn't give up on the old traditions. Felicia got a very traditional upbringing, combined with the american schooling system. She got a a bit bullied at school, but very soon after having bullied her a few times, she usually paid them back by laying “curses” on them. They did nothing much, but scared the bullies most of the time shitless nevertheless.
Her mother was a “free soul” every bit as much as Felicia is now, so she was only 22 when she had her. This did lead to a bit more teasing at school, but nothing Felicia couldn't shun out in a way or another. Felicia's father is the more responsible one of the two. He's also the one who brings most of their money to the family; he works at one of the big mall's as a nightguard. Hence he spends quite a lot time with his daughter, moreso than Felicia's mother who studies to became a lawyer, with varying success. Felicia doesn't have any siblings, and the rest of her family she hasn't met due to them being back in Jamaica.

Present Life: After high school, she decided that she would start getting to know the world, to get out there on her own(this, of course, had nothing to do with the “slight” pressures from her family – as a “one of great future” - causing her want to leave their immediate presence as soon a possible...). She would study the voodoo magics around the world, or so she would say, at least. While she really wants to learn about the world's voodoo, she also wants to explore and experiment it all, to really live. Despite her family's views on this, her grandmother gave her a hefty fund to see her surviving in the big world without having to resort in any extreme measures for survival.
As her grandmother would put it: "Free souls, they come when they feel so. Felicianezaramah is a big girl, she can take care of herself. Her destiny is to become a woman of fate, of changing the world. We may not hear from her in a very long time, but that does not mean she would perish. I know my granddaugher too well. She will most probably come back a grown woman when the time is right, be it a year or even ten years from know. Free souls come back, I know because I was one, and my daughter was one, as now is my granddaughter..."
When she got to Greece, she had been "on the road" for only a few months; she had gone from New York to Madrid, then she walked through half Europe by herself in a lazy pursuit of finding the ancient voodoo magics of the continent. She didn't have much luck, and pretty much walked to Athens seven weeks later empty-handed in that regard.
Getting to Taurica Nesos: It was just random chance that got her to Greece(she was after a clue for voodoo, lost it and decided to stay a while, take a break), and in there stumble across the ticket to the island... hey, whoever threw it to a wastebasket in the small café she was in didn't know what he lost!
What she has with her when she comes to the island:The clothing and accessory described above, both sets; what she doesn't wear at the second is on the leather bag, as is everything else not in use.
“The Complete Book of Traditional Bone-reading”, old and very worn. It was written by her grandmother's colleague, and is the most valuable possession she has with her
Her wallet, containing mainly just her personal identification and the money to get across Europe
A small comb, toothbrush and other personal hygiene stuff to keep her hair as smooth as it is and breathing somewhat humane. While she isn't that prone to hygiene, she doesn't ignore it alltogether either.
Ideas as to what she'd tf into: anything from the Panthera Leo family, really. Reasons: I have many female characters involved in transformations, but none of them feline. And also because the idea for this character actually started in a pic I drew long(okay, maybe not so long ago, but just play with me here) before I knew of this rp. Then I just summed one and one... *cough *
As for looks after the tf, I want her hair to stay mostly as it is. Other than that, "anything goes"
...actually, if you somehow feel inclined, the “anything goes” can apply to the whole of transformation. I'm not picky. Surprise me if the feline doesn't go for some reason(overpopulation, maybe?)
(A point of notice: no canines tho. I have enough of them in my chars as it is...)
