Ok, so, any spoilers for Deathly Hallows must be written in white, just to be nice, even though I believe that if you even think about the internets before you have finished the book, you deserve spoilers.
So, pretty much a lot of people die. 13 are actually named in the book as dead, but there are so many more, especially in the last battle. Hmm. 13. And Neville does a killing. Sadly, it's not Bellatrix, which would have been FREAKING AWESOME but, if it were not for Neville, then Voldy would not have died. He pretty much became leader of the DA, which I kinda figured when Luna and Ginny were no longer in school. And I want someone to draw me an amazingly good picture of Neville pulling the sword out of the Sorting Hat, or of him slaying Nagini. Or both. I may just practice drawing and painting enough so I can have that... Ooh, and Neville's Gran was super proud of him the whole time, and went on the run at some point, which made me super happy.
I am quite disappointed in a few things...
1. Why no Neville's Patronous! He has happy memories now, and I'm sure of it! Showwwww meeeeee!
2. Neville didn't get to be the one to kill Bellatrix, but then again, she is very evil and strong, and I believe he cared more about helping kill Voldemort, and protecting the ones he loved than to bring about revenge.
3. Tonks and Lupin did NOT get an appropriate "this is how they died" or anything. it was a sentence saying their bodies were on the ground and they looked like they were sleeping.
4. Snape wasn't completely evil. But, to justify my beliefs, Snape was not working to please anybody except for Lily, but she was dead. So it was just him making himself feel better over the whole thing. He did not do it for the greater good of the world, nor for Dumbledore, or Harry, but for himself. I do in fact still believe that Snape is a jerkass, who picked on Neville, making him fear Potions class so much that he was not able to get into it in his 6th year and get the job he so much wanted to avenge his parents.
5. I kinda wanted to know if Neville got married or had kids, but, as predicted, he did get the job as Herbology Professor and that made me happy.
Speaking of Luna, I really thought her father murdered her for like a minute. Cause they were like "Why does he keep looking out to the garden?" and the whole scene kinda looked set up as a crazy murder... I expected them to look out the window, see nothing, and then have her body fall from the ropes which he had hung her or something... I know, morbid.
By the way, I kinda just kept adding in the middle, so the speaking of Luna may seem weird now, but oh well.
Yeah, I don't feel bad ever posting spoilers. And this is not such a popular guild, so I mind less.
I should log into my Neville Longbottom account sometime just to see how much spam and announcements I have. And maybe complete that quest I had...
