Do you think the Terrans would really be what future humans are like? I don't just mean technologically, but psychologically as well? What would some key differences be?

Really, there is a huge diversity of possible technologies for the future so that future humans being excactly like Terrans is highly unlikely. Nevertheless, similar technology would not be out of the question.

Do you think we would still be using oil/gas/whatever-based vehicles in the future (albeit not gasoline, but something similar, such as vespene(sp?) gas)?

We'd be using clean non-pollutant energy sources, such as solar powered flashlights. 3nodding

Lol.
Even during war, though? I mean, if we had to go all out...

There are other solutions to energy rather than gasoline. The scientists (in Australia or something) have this hydrogen generator that separates hydrogen from oxygen in the water molecules. The enormous generator then uses the hydrogen and converts it to a usable energy source. So, a bathing tub full of water can power up thousands of homes. It's still being worked on but hydrogen is one of the solutions to future energy source.

i think that are war will bill like this at some time. it is possible for there to actually be a terran race. in the universe. but most likely the human race will destroy itself before evolving to the next stage.

The problem is you need power to do it, so you're already working from behind.

When Hydrogyn is fused with oxygen, a small spark is released. This spark is electricity that can be used for lights, cameras, action movies, and many other things. There are even some prototype cars that use hydrogyn. It is most likely going to replace gasoline and diesel but it isnt really futuristic enough to work for the Terrans.
