I have a colleague who does. I write poems for the most but they can be made into songs.

I write some songs for my band. I've got one I'm supposed to be working on but I'm too lazy xd I'll probably do a little work on it tonight. I've only got half of the first verse and a chorus. ^^;

I write poems and songs. Some poetry gets turned into songs. I've written alot of gothic-depressing ones. In fact, that's basically all i write.

im a song writer but i write songs on how i feel or felt about smething bur mostly i write im upset t some one or something but i also write when im happy.

i usually write depressing stuf based on what is happening in my life. Though occasionaly something great happens, like a great night out with my girlfriend.
