Kouda's Journal7-24-07:: The acquiring of KoudaKana had just recently visited the floating island of Arenaith for a small vacation. She decided on a tour of Buttercat Hall and found herself in a nursery for unwanted, unparented buttercat eggs. The nurse there and smiled while asking how long Kana was going to stay on Arenaith. Kana replied meekly, "3 weeks." The nurse smiled even more and asked if Kana had any love for animals. She said yes, of course. And the nurse gave her a pale mauve egg with swirl designs on it. It was roughly the size of her chest, with shiny black fur on part of it.
Kana looked puzzled at the nurse, so the nurse replied, "Take it, you'll love the results." Kana looked at the egg and got a deep maternal feeling and deepened her embrace with it. On her way out of the hall she looked at the egg for the millionth time and somehow knew there was something inside of it; something male and something that went by the name of Kouda.
