"you should know 2 things Orb, you are not the first of the wireweb i have fought, and i have learned something, your wireweb, and the metal in my blood are almost the same, very little is different about them, and i too have the advantage, this is the forest that surrounds the Kohno village, i grew up here, trained here, and have stayed hidden here untell now, i know the land very well"

*with no sound at all, and causing almost no movment of the air around him, he begins to move from tree to tree*

*jumps down and lands very quietly on the ground, his normal clothing gone, he now wears pure black and green ninja clothing, no shoes, no gloves. from his feet metal begins to protrude downward, moving the earth and forming a small tunnel, he jumps in and the metal forms a circle around his body, he begins to go lower into the earth, everyonce in awhile a small funnel with quickly burst upward, letting fresh air in*

*Orb sends a simple command through the earth to the dirt, the rock, the sand, the clay. He calls to it. He commands it. He politely requests that it come to his aid and protect him at all costs. And the earth respectfully agrees. The ground directly under Orb begins to shake and crumble, compacting into a thick sphere around him. It's strong enough to repel any normal attack made by Ashika... because it's so intensely dense, it would take a chakra-propelled attack to penetrate it. Even Orb's wireweb couldn't cut through it, under normal conditions... nor could any of his kunai, even though they are specially coated to make them stronger. The best part is that it is litterally a sphere, so it protects him from all possible attack angles... even an attack made underneath him. Within the sphere, Orb forms his seals. He is beyond an actual need for seals, but they comfort his mind... they will make the process go easier.*

*The sphere of dirt around Orb pushes back against it's barriers of metal. More dirt swims up from the ground to add itself to the sphere, causing it to swell in size and mass. But the true peril is now for Ashika... by attacking the ball, he has flared his chakra and revealed his position. Orb need not deal with him himself, he is still forming seals... but the Earth itself now cries out to protect him. Ashika, without realizing it, has put himself in a vulnerable spot... under the ground. the full force of the Earth's tectonic movements now presses on Ashika from all sides, threatening to punch through his meager metal shell and crush him like a grape. His metal is, of course, thick and strong, but it is no match for the Power that is closing in on it now... a Power that creates earthquakes in It's wake and causes volcanoes to erupt from It's pores. Within a matter of twenty seconds, the pressure will get to be too much and Ashika's shield will rupture... and even though Orb would not approve of it, he currently has no control over what is happening. It will only disengage once It truly believes It's master is safe.*

*It does not take a geology student to realize what will happen soon... The sand and dirt in the immediate area heats up and crystalizes. And of course, when fine particles such as sand and dirt crystalize... they form glass. Then comes the crucial point.

With such intense pressures, the massive glass sphere- and it's metal center- cannot maintain structural integrity long. So, this next question goes out to all you teenagers out there... what happens when you squeeze a blackhead? Come on, admit it... you know. The clotted dirt and oil and other gonk pops out of the pore. Now, if you think of the Earth as a body, and a hole in the ground as a pore... what do you think such intense pressure will do to Ashika and his metal?

Well?

Okay, I'll tell you... it'll push it out of the ground. And by push... I mean propel.

Orb is spared from all of this... at the last second, his earthen shield is carried out of the way by the surrounding dirt and carried to safety... while inside, he still does not realize what is going on. He is still forming his seals. But Ashika and his entire glass/metal sphere- about a sixteenth of a mile in diameter- have now been propelled up, up, up into the air and air still going.*

*The kunai that are fired at Orb embed themselves in his dirt sphere... they stay fort a second, then the sand rorganizes itself and they fall out. For the entire fight, Orb has been preparing a jutsu... and now, finally, he uses it. The sand flies out away from him in a whirlwing dust storm, in all directions. If it gets in one's eyes- and it would be nearly impossible to "dodge" it, it will leave the victim momentarily blinded.

It seems as if the color has partially drained out of the surrounding plants... as if their very life is being drained out. In truth, this is not exactly what is happening. It is strength that is being drained from them. This technique is not a forbidden one... it is the Web of Vitality, the lesser technique to Web of Mortality. There is no 'saving throw', or means to dodge the jutsu... this technique will drain the strength of anyone in the immediate area and use it to restore Orb's own strength. Plants are affected, as are bugs, birds, bacteria, rodents... and even masters of ninjutsu. The technique flows throw any kind of matter, be it air, metal, or the ground.*
