I went to Jrock Revolution and I like practically DIED when Miyavi offically announced joining S.K.I.N. and when I heard Yoshiki say that they were gonna be at Anime Expo in Long Beach I immediately turned to my friend Karen and we're all "WE'RE GOIN!" (Although we were already planning on going but still! sweatdrop )
So the line was like from 7:30-1:30 pm to get your tickets and I was in line at about 6 am. It was me my sister my friends Karen, Heidi, Momo, Amber, Jasmine and Sara. Ok and then after tickets there was this TERRIBLE line to get into the theatre and S.K.I.N. was sooooo behind schedule! The concert was supposed to start at 3:30 but it didn't actually start till around 6 pm.
But it was worth it cause OHMYGOSH were they amazing! They just had sooooo much energy that you could like FEEL it! And how do I explain the duet? Well, I mostly just cried but still. (For those that don't know the duet was Gackt and Yoshiki playing piano which Miyavi played a shamisen, a traditional Japanese guitar, and Sugizo played the violin). They played only like 3 songs but they repeated on making it a total of a four song concert.
I would have to say my favorites parts were the duet, when Gackt would scream "GET BACK" and we would shout "GET BACK" right back at him. 3nodding and when the band did the introductions. OMG were they amazing.
"He's like my brother...MIYAVI!" ---Gackt
That made me laugh.
Oh and when Gackt drank from that water bottle and he spit it out into Miyavi's mouth?! Gosh I just wanted to die of happiness! heart Hahaha.
So after the concert, well I couldn't talk for about a week. (No joke! sweatdrop ) and my friend Amber was like SOBBING and of course she got ME sobbing and yea so it was just a bundel of Jrock tears. xD
And THEN omg this is where is gets really sad and ironic, so we were all waiting for S.K.I.N. to come out of the theatre for like an hour before me and Heidi and Sara and my sister and Karen had to leave. (Which just left Momo Amber and Jasmine) Well anyway apparently 5 mintues after we left S.K.I.N. drove out and my friend Momo was so close to Miyavi that if his window was down she could have touched him. (Trust me, she totally would to. That woman WANTS to marry him xP)
So yea, basically my whole S.K.I.N. Story. (pretty long ne? ^.^')
I want to talk about it with everyone, see what everyone thinks of the concet, if you went, if you wanted to go.
I heart S.K.I.N.!
