Crystal Isis walked to the back door and reaced over the door frame for a key. Upon realizing it wasn't there, she jumped through the open window.
"I forgot I left the key sitting on the counter." she muttered. She walked over to the employee's lockers and opened one. Locker number 13, her father's. She reached in and grabbed an album that said, Baby Book, and opened it to a clean page. She then pulled out another album that said the same thing. One was her's and the other was Toshimi's.
"I know you wanted to continue these till we graduated, but you were murdered outside our home. To bad they never found the killer. Anyway, I've continue these for you and I will continue until I graduate. Just like you wanted. Tears began to build in her eyes. She also grabbed a camera from the locker and sat it across the room and set the timer. Once the picture was taken it began to print and Crystal Isis slipped it in the album. She opened Toshimi's and slipped a picture in it before finally slipping the albums away. She sat the camera down and was planning to take it home and get pictures of Toshimi and the kitten. She wiped the tears from her eyes and shut the locker. She walked over to a chair and sat down.
"Father, if your spirit is here, please come out." She didn't get a response.
"Dad?" she called out again, still not getitng a response.
"Damn it, dad! Where are you?" she yelled. A spirit appeared behind her.
"I'm right here." He said, jokingly.
"It's about time you came out. Of course, thats my father for you."
"What the ghost that never comes out when called upon?"
"Bingo."
"So Lyra, you're a superhero?"
"Oh, thats right. I haven't come to visit you since I dressed up as Isis for Halloween this year. That mean you don't really know that I'm a superhero. Well I'm Isis, or Kitsune Isis. Well right now I'm Crystal Isis."
"Following in your father's footsteps?"
"I sure am, Katana Knight!" Her father's spirit smiled.
"To bad Katana Knight is what got me killed."
"Which reminds me, who did kill you?"
"All I can tell you is that her Superhero name was 'The Duchess' at least it was until she became a villain." Crystal Isis froze upon hearing that name.
"I'm sorry dad, but I gotta go." Crystal Isis walked over to the camera and picked it up then walked out the door. Her father's spirit dissapated as she walked out.
"Damn." she thought as she walked out.
