Aitumn wasn't exactly sure just how he would get the two-leggers to come to him like Lucius had, but he had come to the decision to get Cressida more fruit and vegtables from them today. Hmm, no doubt it would take some invention to do so, but the blood bay felt fairly confident in his skills, despite only watching the bone-clad stallion do it once. The two-leggers, after all, had seemed fairly intellegent.
As it was though, the blood bay Jala was still in flight, hoping to once again stumble upon the place like he had done before. Ugh, perhaps he should have been paying more attention before. A hollow gaze swept over the land below him as he seemed to see the odd structures down below. Hmm, this was definatly the place. Spilling the air from under his wings the stallion slowly decended down from his place in the sky, readily accepting the ground below as he struck a swift and smooth landing. The only problem now, was getting those two-leggers out here.
Hmm, this could prove problematic.

Rosemary ran far and ran fast. It seemed like only minutes ago that she had been killed by the Mini-twoleggers, but it had in fact been much longer. She was gliding across the ground, her hooves barely visible, as she sped away from the place she had been murdered. She was a silvery-chestnut being, in her own personal stampede, that would never forget the day she had lost her best friend with her own death.
She stopped to catch her non-existant breath, her fragile foal spirit tiring and making her want to weep. She was a pale shade tonight, the moon shining through her transparent-chestnut body. Her own blood stained her coat, turning it a dark crimson next to the bloody gash on her shoulder. She snorted and small flecks of real blood flicked towards the ground from her nose; she was still bleeding, after all this time.
She rested behind a small tree, knowing full well that she could almost be seen in the silvery moonlight, but not caring; she needed interaction.

Where two-leggers even awake at night? He knew not many creatures were, heck he probably shouldn't be either. Especially not flying durning the night, but it had still been fairly light when he left. With a hearty snort, the blood bay stallion pricked his ears as he tried to listen the sounds around him. Should he try to make some noise? Get their attention?
The stallion was just about to try something when a rather odd scent came to his nostrils. Was that... blood? The Jala wasn't quite sure, but the smell was quite metallic, and rather disturbing. Just how close was it anyways? Flicking his ears every which way the stallion kept his gaze to the area around him, really rather disturbed at the moment. He knew there were things out there at night, nequus even that probably wouldn't be the best of individuals to meet up with. Even then, there was that scent of blood near by, which just made the stallion all the more tense about the situation.

Rosemary sank into the darkness, hiding behind the tree the best she could as she saw that another was nearby. The tiny, thin sapling-- no more than a few inches in diameter-- did nothing to hide her shimmering chestnut figure in the moonlight, but she felt safer. If this Nequus was dangerous...
What was she thinking? She was dead, she didn't have to worry about danger!
She crept around the tree, standing up fully and trying to reveal her nearly-transparent figure to the stallion... what was the matter with him? He seemed too... tense... for his own good.
"Hello?" Rosemary whispered, though she was trying to speak loudly. She wrinkled up her nose in discomfort; the loudest she could speak was a hoarse, floating whisper!
"Hello?" she whispered again, flicking her tail nervously.

He didn't know what had driven him to seek out the humans this close to dusk, but perhaps it would have been a good idea to wait till the morning. At least then his hollow, dark eyes would have been able to see a bit better. It wasn't the sound of hoof-beats, nor the rustle of a bush that caught his attention, but rather a quiet hint of a voice. It was surprising to say the least, and his ears swiveled around quickly, before his head followed. He normally wouldn't have been as tense as this, but the scent that hung in his nose was rather disturbing.
It wasn't long however till he caught sight of a figure in the pale moonlight, a small figure. A foal? "Hello?" he called back, louder than herself, but quiet in the night. Is this where the scent was coming from? If so why? Hmm, this was confusing, but he did move to get a closer look. He nearly thought he was able to see through her, but that was probably just a trick of the light. "Are you alright?"

Rosemary gasped. So the stallion had been able to hear her! Oh, what a delightful day, oh, how wonderful...
But then she realized he would probably freak out when he found that she was actually a ghost. Ostracized by her status of being legally dead, sentenced to a life of misery and loneliness for as long as she wandered the lands.
Great. Effing great.
"I-I-I don't know..." she said as loudly as she could. Her voice was rather billowy, like it was floating in the wind, but it sounded more eerie than gentle. It frightened her; her own voice frightened her. Great. After all, she was only a foal, so she assumed that she could cut herself some slack. But from then on, she vowed, she would only speak when necessary.

It was an odd little encounter, that the stallion was sure of, but his dull, hollow gaze... how could that lie to him? He had stepped closer to the form of the foal; he was sure it was a foal because of the voice, but even that was so quiet and low he was hardly able to hear her. It must have been very dark and late outside, for Aitumn could swear he was hardly able to see the poor thing out here, almost as if there was nothing to see at all... must have been a dark coat. Simply must have been, he couldn't think of any other reason why he wouldn't be able to see her very well.
For some reason his hide twitched without thought, and his ears swiveled about as if in nervousness. There was something not right here, something not right at all. Whether it be from how close he was to the humans, or that metallic smell he had caught a scent of earlier, even if it was just a faint shadow of a thing, it had his nerves tangled into knots.
"Are you sure? What's your name?" He had many other questions he wanted to ask, but he wasn't about to stick his nose into someone else's business. Where were her parents? Why was she out and about at night? Was it just him or did she feel not at ease either? However, it was best to keep his muzzle shut on such things, she didn't seem able to talk very well at the moment, with a voice that sounded so... so what? Sad? Flickering? It was odd, that was for sure.
