Best kind of Rock?

I hope this goes here lol. What is your favorite kind of rock and why? My favorite is Metal because i love the screaming and hard guitar solo's.

i do like metal becuase of the screaming wich makes it awsome but i like j-rock better becuase it just sounds better i guess....

I like Punk most......but I like Emo just as much.

i like pretty much any genre of rock as long as it has a nice beat and decent vocals. It depends a lot on my mood tho, whether i'll listen to punk, goth, heavy or black metal...

i like all kinds of music but, heavy metal expecially because..... well... i grew up around rock and heavy metal. i might not look it but ya. my favorite though would have to be ozzy. i saw him just this year(parents said i wasnt old enough every other year >3< . stupid parents...) and low and behold it was also free. but the ride to ozfest was just ugh... it was 6-7 hours there and then 6-7 hours on the way back. it was horrible. and how can you sleep in a car that has all the windows open, wind blasting in your face and the rock bursting your eardrums? well you cant so it was horrible but the show was great!!! xd xd xd
