I didn't really like the book. I mean, before I would've disagreed with anyone who said that the Harry Potter series wasn't that good, but now I kinda agree witht hem. The plot was really wierd, she left out some stuff, and the epilouge was cheesy. i wanted to find out what happened to George after Fred died. And i think (don;t hate me for this) that Harry should have died, becuase the reason he's still alive doesn't make much sense.

Yeah, my biggest thing was I felt she was kinda killing off characters just cuz she could. Like their dying really didnt have much affect if any on the story, so because she decided not to kill any of the golden trio she hoped to make up for it by killing alot of other characters. I mean Hedwig?! Come on! Not to mention the owl and Mad Eye is about 3 chapters in. I was also mad about having Lupin and Tonks marry, have a baby, and then die.

I agree. If all those characters died, even if it was to protect the good and help defeat the evil, you'd like it would have a bad affect on the characters still. Ron and Ginny lost their brother, you'd think that would do something on them. Lupin dies, you'd think that it would hurt Harry again since Lupin was the last true living best friend of his Dads. Hedwig dying was a bit much and the fact that none of the trio where killed or put in a state where they can't live normal lives and lived happily in the end peeved me. From my point of view, even with everything done and over with, I'd still be upset or angry about it. More so, all these sudden things of the three deathly hallows and how Harry is a decedent was a little much to just happen in a single book of a series. Any series I've read, something like that is fore-shadowed from the beginning but you don't know how it's going to happen and what the end result will be.
The whole thing of Harry dying should have went all the way through. Yes, little kids would cry, but it should have happened. It would have made the book intense and make much more sense.
Also, I think everything was happening all to quickly to be believable. What I found in Rowling's writing was that it had a good concept, and her over-all writing became better by the forth, but once those books where out the fame got to her head and she couldn't write well anymore. You can tell from how the writing was that it was for the money and not the story.

OMG, I adored it. It was emotional, I don't care who you are. It is amazingly well written with a good, soppy, corny ending. =D I adored it.

It's a KIDS series. Written by a mom for her kid, to be read by other kids. OF COURSE it had a 'happy' ending for Harry and his closest friends. Duh.
Ending a series, any series, is always tough. You will never write an ending that EVERYone will agree with, let alone love. Seven wasn't her best writing but it wasn't that bad.
