"A day in the rain.. Strolling across the park.. With no cares, no worries.. Just me and the rain..." Chiro Yume sang to himself. As he jumped and flipped in the rain with is grape colored umbrella. Chiro loved the rain. Especially with the thunder and lightening. He looked in the shops of windows and pointed at things. He looked at has wallet. Having no money, enough for coffee for two or three, but nothing more.
He walked by a Cafe shop. The smell coming out from the door way. "Maybe some coffee would do.. I was thinking about it all day.." He smiled and slowly walked in. The smell of muffins and other desserts filled the room. He walked up to the counter and ask for a cup of coffee, paid and took his cup and sat down. Watching the rain.

Gladys had been taking a stroll, secretly hoping to catch somebody's, hopefully some cute guy, eye, when it had started pouring down. Now, Gladys didn't mind the rain, she found it rather romantic actually, but she did not enjoy getting her new clothes too wet, hence, she had made her way to a cute little coffee shop before too much damage had been done.
Buying a mug of warm chocolate, for Gladys honestly detested coffee, she had sat down in a quiet corner of the shop, and had been drinking her chocolate in peace, when a boy her own age caught her eye. He had ordered a cup of coffee, and was now simply sitting, staring at the rain, much like she had just done.
She hummed to herself. He wasn't sitting too far away, and she was feeling rather lonely. Making up her mind, she got up, and walked over to the table and spoke "Hey there... Couldn't help but seeing you enter, and I thought we were both looking mighty lonely... mind if I join you?" she asked, smiling charmingly

Chiro put his coffee down and looked up. 'A lovely young lady wants to sit with me.. Heheh..' His dirtly little mind thought. He smiled at her and pulled out a chair. "Why Certainly. Please, sit.." He said cheerfully. He took another sip of his coffee. and know wanted a muffin to go with it. But he couldn't leave her just yet. He wanted to know some about her.
"My name is Chiro Yume.." He smiled and paused. "And yours is, beautiful miss?" He couldn't help but to flirt with her. At least a little. Thoughts running through his head again. Trying not to think to much ahead or he'll get himself in trouble with her.

She sat down gracefully, and looked at the other poneko intently. Great, just the way she had hoped he would be; like her. She took a sip of her own chocolate, before setting it back down on the table and winking at the purple poneko "Straight to the point, eh?"
In her mind, she contemplated playing a little with him, but in the end decided that she would let him get this one easy "I'm Gladys... Gladys Varda, actually.. Nice to meet you Chiro" she answered, battering her eyeslashes slightly.

He sees what she is now, she is just like him.. He laughed as she said, "Straight to the point" He smiled. "Well Yeah.. I mean.. Thats what I do.. When I meet someone, I just get straight to the point. Just like my father." He smiled.
"Gladys... What a lovely name." He paused. "And, its nice to meet you too." He said, taking a sip of his coffee. The smell of muffins, they were dancing in his head. He smiled at Gladys. "Excuse me for a moment.." He got up and skipped to the counted, ask for a muffin, he looked back at Gladys. "Umm.. Would you like anything?" He asked her politely.

Biting her lip slightly, she considered her options through for a few seconds, before calling back to him "Do you think you could fetch me a small piece of strawberry cake?" she asked, looking perfectly innocent, before adding "Thank you darl" and winking at him.
So maybe this wouldn't lead to anything more than just some fun, but she felt perfectly fine with just having fun for now, she thought as she returned her attention to the chocolate she was still sipping on. Yes, she hadn't had any real fun for quite some time. Besides, he should be up to it.

He blushed a little as she winked at him. He order the finest Strawberry cake up there and gave the cashier his money. bring back two plates. Sitting Gladys' Strawberry cake in front of her and his muffin with a few chocolate chips in them. He broke some of his muffin and popped it in his mouth. "Hot!" He yelped, drinking some of the hot coffee down his throat.
He looked at Gladys. "Do you like your Strawberry cake?" He said. 'That Strawberry cake sure does look good...' He looked at it. Then smiled back at Gladys.

She raised a fine eyebrow at his yelling, and giggled slightly as he proceded to remove the stinging by drinking something that was ALSO hot. "Smart move" she commented dryly, before turning her attention to her own cake. Using the fork that had followed, she took a tiny piece of the cake, and nibbled on it, while watching Chiro intently. His blush hadn't gone by unnoticed.
When he had asked to the strawberry cake, she had nodded, and scooped another piece up on her fork, and offered it to him "Its great, want to try?" she said, still holding on to the fork, obviously expecting to feed it to him.

He sighed. "Hahah.." He siped his coffee again, it was getting colder. Might even have to heat it again. So he broke off a piece of his muffin and ate it. He slowly chewed it. Making the flavor stay in this mouth forever. The chocolate chips melted in his mouth. He almost want to get up and started dancing.
Then, a tinkle came to Chiro's eyes as she asked if he wanted to try. He nodded his head and opened his mouth. 'I guess shes going to feed me... Heheh.. Me likey this girl..' He thought in his mind.

Hm... Doesn't take too well to sarcasm she noted in her mind, upon hearing his response to her quick wit How bothersome she huffed mentally. But she could play the nice part too.
When he finally got around to opening his mouth, a half-smirk was on her lips. She fed him the piece of cake, and sat back down in her chair, having leaned in over the table quite a bit to reach him, and looked at him expectantly

Chiro closed his eyes and chewed on the cake. Making the flavor last forever in his mouth. He jumped out of his sit and screamed, "This is the best Strawberry Cake I ever tasted in my life!!" He looked around and then sat back down.
"Heheh.. Urrmm.. Sorry about that?" He paused. "But that cake was good.. " He added. Feeling a bit embarrassed. 'Woot.. I ruined my chances with the first girl I ever met... God I'm so stupid!' He thought to himself.

Her eyes widened in surprise when he jumped up and screamed. It wasn't that she didn't like the attention, but currently, it wasn't exactly positive attention the other coffee drinkers were giving her. Ah well she thought to herself No publicity like bad publicity she sighted dramatically.
She nodded absentmindedly, still trying to stare down some of the lesser well-behaved shop-goers that still thought it was okay to stare. After that, a short silence stretched. "Well... uhm... that was... akward?" she tried

He sighed and sipped his coffee. He had more action and fun when he was outside twirling in the rain like an idiot. It was so silent in the Cafe Shop. He almost wanted to bang his head against the table, but controlled himself. He thought it was a good time to leave. he put the coffee cup and the plate in the trash.
He threw a small piece of muffin in his mouth. And walked to the table where Gladys is. "Well it was nice meeting you, catch you around.." He waved bye as he walked out, getting his umbrella and opening outside of the shop He walked across the street to get to the park.

She looked at him in surprise. He was going to simply walk away? Oh, that wouldn't do. She was getting a bit sick of this place anyway. And all the people that found it amusing to stare.
"Wait, wait up!" she yelled after him, as she lept out of her seat, and made a dash to keep up with him. Darn she thought STILL no umbrella. "Chiro, wait!" she tried again, yelling through the heavy rain. If he didn't come back, she would have to walk back into the coffee store behind her, and she really didn't feel like it.

He looked back as he heard Gladys calling his name. He rant to her and put the umbrella over top of her. "You might catch a cold if you don't have an umbrella.." He looked around seeing that they was in the middle of the street, pushing Gladys to the side walk.
"Where is your umbrella?" He paused and looked back at the cafe shop. "Did you leave it in the Cafe Shop?" He asked her, scratching the back of his head.
