Personality: She is honestly of an average personality. She can be slightly sarcastic sometimes, but she makes up with it with random bouts of insanity.

History: Kyrie was found on the doorstep of a kindly couple in Alessandria. They raised her as if she were their own daughter. She thinks she is a human, but she doesn't know that she is really of a race called the Garuda. Her wings have just developed and this sends her into longing about finding out where she came from.

Personality: She is quite emotionless. It is has really nothing to do with experiences or anything. It is quite the opposite, she has had no social interactions her who life (which has been very short).
Origin: underground
History: Legend speaks of a race of people that made machines that ran on crystals. This race, if it had ever existed, has long sunk into the dust of time. The crystals, on the other hand, are not legend. They grow in subterranean caves all around the planet. Sometimes, a crystal begins to become sentient. Whym is one of those crystals. She has awoke only a few years ago. Being a power crystal, she has very strange powers. The powers seem similar to alchemy, but there is something that is fundamentally different about it. If any machines of the lost race are found, Whym instantly knows what they are and how to operate them.
Anything else: She usually has her head in the clouds. Her body is rock hard because of the fact that she is really a crystal, it is very hard to cut her.

Name: Edrim Mast
Age: 22
Race: Human
Looks: He's 5'9", and skinny. Edrim is pretty well muscled. His longish black hair is usually tied back in a small ponytail. He's pretty well tanned and has dark blue eyes. He's fairly normal looking aside from runes carved into both his arms.
Clothing: Edrim wears loose navy pants and a loose dark red shirt with a green vest over top.
Weapon:A scythe. It looks just like a scythe used in farming, except for some runes engraved in the blade.
Side: Evil
Personality: Edrim likes to have fun and has a rather giddy almost child like personality. He is however rather evil and takes great delight in causing pain. He is rarely serious, but he does have his moments.

History: Growing as an orphan in a small village Edrim developed a bad reputation among the villagers because of his tendency to hurt the other children as well as animals that he came across. After killing a small child by accident, he was chased out of the village. Wandering on his own he came across his scythe in a cave and discovered that he could create flames while holding it due to the runes on the blade. After carving the runes into his arm, he found that with difficulty he could control flames, though he couldn't create them if he wasn't in direct contact with his scythe. Since then he has simply wandered about, doing whatever he pleases.

Name: Kristoff, actual name Sariel
Age: 19
Race: Nephilim (half human, half angel)
Looks: User Image
His wings appear when startled, in battle, or just whenever he feels like it. The right wing is the same color as his hair. The left wing was made by an alchemist. Scruffy, silver hair falls to his shoulders and his eyes are like orbs of amethyst. He's on the tall side, standing at 6'4". Overall, he stands out a little bit....
Clothing: He wears a long, white cloak and white gloves with an elaborate blue cross embroidered on the top. Also wears blue pants.
Weapons: Sword forged for him by his uncle. He also uses his left wing, the man-made one, as a sheild
Side: Good, thanks to that angelic blood flowing in his viens
Personality: Although he may come off as a bit ditzy, he really is extremely kind and willing to lay his life on the line for others. He likes to talk...A LOT. Most of the time, his head is in the clouds and he usually has no idea what's going on. He also tends to take things literally and sometimes to the extreme. When in the presence of a fallen angel, he looses all control and an almost primitive instinct to kill takes over him.
Origin: The small, snowy village of Minoka in the North
History: Kristoff is a nephilim, the offspring of an angel father and a human mother. His parents had to immediately give Kristoff up and put him into hiding. His mother sent him to be raised by her brother and neither she nor Kristoff's father were ever seen again. Kristoff's uncle was a smith, and even though years of working had hardened him, he still had a soft heart. He raised Kristoff and tried to teach him the ways of the smith, but Kristoff never really seemed too interested. The day Kristoff turned 16, he awoke to find a wing growing out of his back. Out of fear, his uncle banished him from the smith and from the town. Ever since that day, Kristoff has been hunted by a group of bounty hunters whom he calls the Hunters who attack at night. Eventually, Kristoff visited an alchemist and received his other wing. As a nephilim, his job is to redeem all the fallen angels...a fancy way of saying he has to kill all the fallen. Also as a nephilim, he has prolonged life, not immortal life, a result of the human and angel lifespans.
Update: Kristoff died, but came back to life...or...existence. He now lacks a heartbeat and is more of a walking corpse than a living person. He claims that his death experience redeemed him, but is that true?

Clothing: White blouse and white skirt with long blue gloves. (consult the picture) She also wears a pouch where she stores just about everything inside.

Side: Good
Personality: Very bubbly and whimsical. She is very innocent and yet is slightly commanding.
Origin: A small village tucked away in the woods
History: Riff may look like your normal everyday orphan human little girl, but there is something not right about her. A demon lives inside her. No, SHE'S not a demon. It was an accident. When she was 12, she accidently got caught between demon crossfire. The result? The attacking demon now lives inside her. One could say that Riff has a severe cause of schitzophrenia.
Anything else: Riff enjoys talking to the demon living inside her, which can lead to some unusual social situations.


Name: Poison, however it was forgotten after the accident, so Riff named him Raff
Age: Unknown, appears to be early 20's

Personality: Raff is your typical demon, cunning, manipulative, and downright nasty. However, perhaps being locked up in Riff's body has taught him otherwise. Over the years, he's been becoming a little more pleasant, and Riff keeps a constant eye on him to make sure that he STAYS pleasant.
Origin: Unknown
History: It had been a simple assignment, kill an enemy demon. Nothing out of the ordinary. Who would have thought a small human girl would somehow get in the way and block the attack? The result? Somehow, the attack reflected off the girl and back to him. The next thing he knew, he was trapted in the girl's mind with a good chunk of his memory erased. Talk about a way to start off your weekend...
Anything else: Riff usually keeps Raff locked up, but when she does let him out, it's usually during a battle, during a sticky situtation, or sometimes at night. He sees everything that Riff sees and will talk to her in her mind quite frequently. When Raff is the one "in control", the shared body takes on the form of Raff. In a sense, he's Riff's twisted conscious. Raff and Riff are quite opposite.

Age: Appears to be somewhere in her teens, though she is one of the original mages
Race: Mage
Looks: Her looks are really nothing that unusual. She long, brown hair that she usually pulls up and amber eyes.
Clothing: An elegant white and red dress. Around her neck she wears the symbol of the mages: two crescents back to back with a cross in the center.
Weapon: Staff
Side: Generally good
Personality: Myst is very hot-headed and very sarcastic. She tends to hold grudges and lashes out at anyone who angers her. However, deep down, she is an extremely caring person. She has a deep hatred towards Nalan.
Origin: Unknown
History: Long ago, there was a huge war between the mages and the "higher beings." The mages were completely destroyed, and those who survived were cursed to never enter either heaven or hell. Myst was one of the survivors and is now one of the elders of the mages.
Anything else: Was it mentioned that she really hates Nalan? Younger sister of Vangelis.


Name: Vangelis
Age: Unknown. Appears to be early 20's.
Race: Once was a mage, now is a Chaos Ghost (named after the belief that the Chaos is responsible for all the wrongs in the world) or a Divided Soul.
Looks: Long black hair, snow white skin, and orange eyes. He is on the tall side and every feature in his face is sharply defined. He has a very skeletal appearance. His mouth is sewn shut with what appeared to be black thread.
Clothing: Black robes. He also wears the symbol of the mages around his neck. Around his ankles and wrists are shackles with chains.
Weapon: The chains around his ankles and wrists.
Side: Hard to say...
Personality: Vangelis is very detached and distant, making it hard to tell just what his personality really is.
Origin: Unknown
History: For unknown reasons, right before the start of the war between mages and higher beings, Vangelis sought out the beings and revealed to them the secret hiding location of the mages. In a sense, Vangelis started the war. Vangelis was then killed by the higher beings and his soul was divided into four. Now as a Chaos Ghost, Vangelis walks on the earthly plane, the ghostly plane, heaven, and hell. It is unsure how his mouth came to be sewn shut, though it is believed that it is a result of the higher beings.
Anything else: Vangelis is the older brother of Myst. Because of his betrayal, the mages do not accept him. His intentions are a mystery to all.

Name: Izuma Archias Satoan, pet-named "Arc"
Age: 22
Race: Tainted ((Human, with certain amounts of forsaken, or demonic, blood running through his veins))

Clothing: Typically the same as the image, but with a slightly dark red in lieu of the green.

Personality: Slightly withdrawn, yet very easy to gain his trust. Often, this has lead to his compassion being exploited as a "weakness" his enemy has come to expect.
Origin: Izuma was born on a seperate continent to the East, in a village called Threalde. He travels after an evil came to his home, burning and slaughtering all in its way.
History: Besides being a slight loner and not having an original home anymore, Izuma walks the land in search of a way to defeat the evil that claimed his early life. Shortly after beginning, he learned he could manipulate fire, but can't create it, or control when he's capable of manipulation.

Name: Jarick Nogaer

Age: 28

Race: Human

Looks: He has a thick beard and mustache, both brown. They are both fairly dirty, as he doesn't bathe much, because he is always traveling, as is his skin, clothing, and hair, but all these factors accentuate the cleanest part of him, his eyes. They are a piercing green, and are very alert. His hair is brown, but roughly cut, as a dagger was used to cut it.

Clothing: He wears a torn vest made of tanned leather, that doesn't offer much protection from the elements, and he also wears torn stitched pants, both brown in color. Those are the only articles of clothings he wears, but they are made by him, and always fit. He also has a bag in which he holds things like his boomerang and certain tradeable wares.

Weapon: He has a dagger that is always in his had, except for when he goes to sleep, or is doing something that requires both of his hands. He has a serrated boomerang that always comes back to him, no matter what the cost. It was handed down through his family's generations, and recognizes his blood. It will not hurt him unless forced against his skin. It will cut through anything in order to get to him, even people. However, just because it is his, doesn't mean he got it honestly.

Side: He is oblivious to things going on in the civilized world, such as war or sides to said war. He would join the side that took him first. Though, even if they were the "evil" side, he would see them as good, and the good side as evil.

Personality: He has a personality that makes him seem like he is in a dream, especially as the time he hasn't slept grows longer. Though this dreamlike state makes him appear unaware, this is usually not the case. He is almost always alert and ready to go. He often comes across as withdrawn, and it is very difficult to gain his trust, and even those few who manage it know very little about him.

Origin: He was born in a small, nameless, basically unknown town near the edge of Sanzanea.

History: He was abandoned at a very young age, and was taken in by an aged couple who lived alone on the far reaches of their village. They died of a sickness that was very common in the elderly when he was just seven. He began to wander off on his own, looking for nothing in particular, but looking nonetheless. He had always felt that something was out there, something that he needed to find.. After their deaths, he began to have dreams of them, their spirits coming after him. These interrupted his sleep, and made it so that rest was almost impossible. He began to become an insomniac, wandering around, tiredness and fatigue disappearing slowly with each passing day. He realized that he wanted to see his true family, and began to investigate their possible whereabouts. He came across their home one night, almost by accident, and saw it recognized a description given to him by one of his sources. By now, he was fifteen He saw an older man that vaguely resembled him cradling a boomerang in his arms, almost as one would cradle a baby. Realizing that this must be what he had been searching for, he snuck into the house that late that same night. The boomerang, though not tied down, would not come free of its surface. He then heard a shuffle, the sound of feet coming down the stairs. It was his father. In a spur of the moment desicion, he stabbed his father in the back, killing him quickly, but not before he had let out a cry of agony that had woken the rest of the household. Jarick turned around, tried to grab the boomerang, and was surprised to see that it came free in his hands. He ran out the way he had come, just as his mother came down the stairs. By the time the authorities had been alerted, he was gone.

((sorry for this long profile. I just like being as descriptive as possible))

Name: Delfa Meritania and Mare
Age: 22 (but looks around 14)
Race: Mer-Elf (half merfolk, half elf)

Looks: Picture 1 Picture 2
Though already into her twenties, due to her elven side, her body bares the size and appearance of a 13-14 year old girl. She has long and wavy silvery-blue hair, which is held up into two long ponytails with long bangs hanging parted in half down the front of her face. Her skin is a golden light brown tan, a result from her work farming in the fields of her home. Her right eye is a deep sea blue color with no visable pupil, which comes from her mermaid mother, and her left eye is a golden amber yellow passed from her elven father. Her ears are long and pointed like elf ears, but bare webbing between the point and the lobe. Gills for breathing underwater are concealed beneath a flap of skin behind her ears. Her face is young and gentle in appearance, but not necessarily what others would call beautiful. Her small body is lean and well toned due to her work farming and also from martial arts training. Her hands are normal in appearance, however her feet bare webbing between her toes which aids her in swimming.

Clothing: Delfa currently wears a sleeveless top that clings tightly above her small bust, with white light fabric flowing down over her chest and stopping at her midrif line. At her torso is a plate of leather wrapped around her waist with a thick cloth rope acting as a belt to keep it tied in place. Two wooden tonfas hang at her waist, one at each side. Further down are baggy green pants that stop at knee length, a small yellow ribbon tying off the fabric around each knee. At her feet are laced farm sandals with the laces tied around her ankles. Leather shoulder guards are attached to the straps of her top, with a large bright cyan scarf wrapped around them and across her neck. Thin sleeves cover her arms from wrists to armpits, with leather arm gaurds strapped over them on both her upper arms and forearms. She also wears a red ribbon tied around her forehead like a headband. She carries a sack made of leather on her back, in which she carries essential items and groceries during shopping, errands, and such.

Weapons : A pair of wooden tonfas and Mare (the scarf) . Also fights hand to hand.

Side: Delfa is a budding martial artist who learned the art from her adoptive grandfather. She has average fighting capability, and is both agile and quick footed. She can climb trees with ease and even leap several feet high (over a normal sized human for example). Unfortunely, her physical strength lacks compared to most. That is to say, she could carry more than what most children her size could, but not lift a log or a large rock by herself. She also bares below average skill in the use of tonfas, and uses them more for defense than for attack. It should also be noted that, if necessary, Delfa can use Mare as a weapon, weilding it in the style one might use a whip.
She uses basic magic, mainly elemental spells, which in slight variation could be considered geomancy depending on how she uses them.

Wind - Can generate anywhere between a faint breeze to a large gust. She can also use this is a means of levitation to reach high places if necessary, but can only move up and downward when doing so, as it is not intended for flight. Also with proper concentration, she can create a vortex of wind that can be used to shoot projectiles at high speeds.

Cold Embrace - Can result in anything from causing her touch to be cooler than normal body temperature, to being able to freeze water within her hands, and even cause a rapid temperature drop within her general vacinity. With enough focus, she can cause the surface of ponds, lakes and even rivers to freeze and become sturdy enough to walk over. This, however, does not freeze the entire water surface, it merely creates a path wide enough to be used as a bridge on which she can cross. It usually melts soon after.

Touch of Growth - Though this spell currently has no applicable uses in battle, Delfa chose to learn this spell to help her grandparents with farming. By touching the soil and using a great deal of focus and concentration, she can cause the soil to become fertile and help the growth of plants and vegetation. Due to the complexity of this spell and the immense energy and focus needed to make it work, it has been used seldomly.

Gentle Rain - This summons the formation of a rain cloud and releases a gentle rain over the area. Though not as complex in its use, it also has no known application for battle. Therefore, it is also seldomly used.

Tangleweed - A cantrip spell which summons vines from the soil to spring up and tangle around the target. Currently, Delfa is still in the process of learning to use this spell properly and has only managed to summon them to the point of tangling feet and tripping up her target

Phantom Whisper - With this spell she can cast her voice to be heard elsewhere, like ventriliquism. Besides being able to use this spell as a distraction, it can also be used to secretly send messages over a distance. As long as there is no obstruction between her and the target and the target is in view, the spell can work successfully.

Fire - This is a spell she has some issues with. While she has somewhat learned to control fire to an extent (such as causing a simple flame to grow or change shape), she cannot create fire on her own. In lou of this, she carries a flint and steel with her to generate at least the spark needed for her to get started.

Another skill Delfa posseses is Herbology/Herbalism, which she learned from her adoptive grandmother. She has extensive knowledge of wordly plants, herbs, and vegetation, as well as their various applications and properties. As a result of both her parents, Delfa also bares exceptional hearing, both on land and under water. Delfa also enjoys singing and dancing for enjoyment and does both moderately well.

Personality: Delfa is typically quiet and observant, more often around new surroundings or new people. She strives to do for herself and not rely on others; however, she is not beyond asking for help if she needs it. Around her family and friends, she is more open and presents a bright and cheerful demeanor. Not a loner by any standards, she prefers the company of others rather than being alone and will often seek out familiar company when they are around. When upset, she will either become very vocal or very silent, depending on the circumstances, and sheds tears seldomly.
She is always looking to improve herself, both physically and mentally, and often jumps at the chance to run errands or do other work in hopes of a rise in opportunity. She also enjoys adventuring when the chance comes up, having gained a bit of wanderlust to see the world. Though due to a slight fear of becoming distanced from her family, she has never gone very far for long periods of time. She considers this to be both a blessing and a curse.
During a fight, Delfa is surprisingly focused, a result of her martial arts training. This focus also helps her concentration with her magic skills as well. One downside, however, is that she may sometimes become too focused on her target and lose track of other surroundings. She is also rather intelligent and clever and can make use out of most anything she gets her hands on.

Bio/History biggrin elfa's birth was the result of an affair between a Mermaid and an Elven man. Circumstances behind the affair are unknown, however the mermaid was rejected by her mate for it, as well as by the rest of her family. As a result, she was forced to leave her home and traveled the land, hoping to find the Elf she had been with. He was nowhere to be found. After much searching and having nowhere else to go, she came upon a farm village near a river and set up a homestead there. During that period, she befriended an older human couple who sympathized with her plight. When Delfa was born, the mermaid established the couple as her guardians and asked them to care for her while she went on a journey in attempts to find the elf. They consented. Once she left, however, she simply never returned. All the mermaid left behind for her child was a box made of coral which was meant to remain unopened until Delfa had grown.
The man and woman who raised Delfa had never had children of their own, so taking care of a child was new to them. Especially one so unique. Still they raised her as best they could, referring themselves to her as grandparents. Delfa grew mentally like any other child, though due to her elven side, her body aged a degree slower. She grew up learning about the land, as they raised her to be a farmer as well, but her learning was not restricted to work. Her grandfather was an old student of martial arts and taught his skills to Delfa, helping to improve her concentration and her physical strength. Her grandmother was also an Herbalist by trade, and taught Delfa the many different plants and herbs that could be found around the world, along with their various uses. The two were also responsible for her schooling, as they did not want to risk possible persecution from other children by sending her to a school. They did their best to also teach her to speak Elven in case it was ever needed, and at times even sought the help of personal tutors for it when it could be afforded. Regardless of any shortcomings, Delfa loved her life. She grew to love both of her "grandparents" dearly, and hardly thought twice about her differences most of the time. There were occasions when she was alone, however, where she did ponder her existence. She had only asked a few times about it as a child, but never recieved a solid explanation. Eventually, she made it a point not to ask.
When Delfa reached 18, her grandparents chose to give her the box that her mother had left behind for her. Inside was a large, shimmering, beautiful cyan colored scarf. Upon it lay a note. It was a letter from her mother. It spoke of Delfa's origins and the true reason her mother had left:
"I know truthfully that I will never find the man who is your true father. What matters is that your childhood has been spared the persecution of my people and that you have been able to grow in the light of a complete and loving family, something I could not give you. Even if you do not understand that, understand this- I love you and wish only a happy life to be had for you. I have left you this as my last token of motherhood. Our family heirloom, the Thread of Meritania. It shall be a guide for you as you learn the ways and history of our people. It shall also assist you in both learning and performing magic, if you choose to take that road. You need only hold it to you and say 'By the blood of my mother, I am Delfa Meritania', and it will recognize you as it's master. With this, I leave you, Delfa. May the mother ocean smile upon you and grant you her mercies, my child."
Once she finished the letter, Delfa took the scarf into her hands and invoked the phrase her mother had written. As soon as she had, the large scarf promptly came to life within her hands. After sweeping around Delfa, as if sizing her up, a voice came forth from the garment saying "So you're my new charge, eh? This should be interesting". As it turned out, the scarf was not only magic, but bore a will of it's own. With it's aid, Delfa soon underwent her training in magic. The scarf, which Delfa gave the name Mare, was not only her focus item for magic, it was also her teacher, as it carried the knowledge from it's many years of existence. Delfa did not take to using magic easily in the beginning, but with much patience and training her abilities improved. Mare also taught her the ways and history of the Meritania family, as well as the language of the Merfolk and other creatures of the sea.
Presently, wherever Delfa goes, Mare is with her, wrapped around her shoulders. The two have become a team, relying on eachother. In essence, Delfa is never alone when away from home, as she has Mare as her constant guide and confidante.

Anything else: THE THREAD OF MERITANIA - How long it has existed is unknown, but old stories within the family speak of its creation as being woven from pearl dust and sea foam by the goddess of the ocean herself. Whether this is actually true or simply a fairy tale is unclear. What is known it has been passed down through the Meritania family since the beginning of their existence. Embued with old magic, it developed a will of it's own over the course of it's existence. Rather than simply be a tool for the casting of magic, it now takes up the role as a familiar, helping to teach magic as well as guide and advise whoever currently bares it's ownership. Though it can move on its own if needed, it does not, however, have the ability to cast magic on its own. It teaches the skills to its holder and works only as focus for casting (such as one would use a wand or a jewel).
In the history of the Meritania family, the Thread of Meritania has been passed down to each firstborn child once they come of age. In this instance, it is when they reach the age of 30. The issue of passing it only to firstborn kin has raised issues over time regarding jealousy and the idea of earning the right to own it, however the family history states that the "right of the firstborn" has remained unchanged.
Delfa's mother had already recieved the Thread before the incident that expelled her from her family. She took it with her to lock away and leave for her daughter before she left for good. This too was a reason for her leaving, as she feared that her people would come looking for her to retrieve the Thread so that it could continue to be passed through the family line. She believed that as long as she was elsewhere, Delfa and the Thread would be safe.
Mare (it's name shortened from Meritania) now guides and teaches Delfa and works only with her, as she is the recognized heir to it's ownership. Aside from having it's own will, it has something of its own personality as well, and will often take the dominant role in decision making between the two. Mare will also speak out if necessary, but in most cases it allows Delfa to do the talking in an attempt to remain inconspicuous to strangers. When speaking, Mare's voice is neither distinguishably male or female and has no qualms about "speaking its mind", as it has done with Delfa's "grandparents" on a few occasions.

Name: Zacarias, real name Ariel

Looks: User Image He also has wings that he may pull out at any given moment. One is snow white, the other the deepest black. His eyes, when uncovered, are a clear shining blue, like the sea, and they behave very much the same way, clouding over or clearing depending on his mood and the weather.
Clothing: He wears a long black traveling cloak with a chain clasp, as well as black leather gloves. As well as a black bandana that he will occasionally tie around his eyes, more for training than anything else.
Weapon: His left arm is large claw-like appendage, which deals devastating blows, and has been known to slice a man’s head in half.
Side: Good...for the moment
Personality: He is an easy going individual, very kind to those around them, unwilling to cause anyone pain unless threatened. Innocent, but at the same time calculating and intelligent.
Origin: The small, snowy village of Minoka in the North...but he doesn't know it
History: An anomaly in itself, since only one nephilim is allowed to exist at one time. He was trained from near birth to be a redeemer of the fallen, but when he learned that to assume his role as a nephilim, he would have to destroy Sariel (Kristoff), the only other one in existence. Upon flatly refusing to redeem (kill) someone who had done nothing more than exist. He was cast out with his memory completely blank, and branded with the mark of the Fallen, a hideous swirling tattoo on the inside of his right wrist. His left arm was transformed into a hideous claw, yet another, more obvious, mark of the Fallen. He was taken in by a young blind woman, who took care of him, and taught him about the world. He would tell her what it looked like, and she would teach him the names of things, as well as its usefulness. She also sculpted his personality, teaching him to be kind and loving. He wrapped his grotesque left arm in bandages, claiming that it had been badly burned, a story that he still uses today. He would spend long amounts of time staring at the horrible tattoo on his right wrist, always wondering what it meant. One day, while he was out collecting herbs, several men arrived at the house, accusing the woman of being a witch and cursing them. She denied everything, but they still beat and raped her, leaving her for dead. Upon returning, Zacarias found her broken and bleeding on the floor. He did his best to keep her alive for as long as possible. However, it was not enough, and she died in his arms, gently touching his face and whispering that if she had only one wish, it would be to truly see his face. He gently bent and kissed her, his tears mixing with hers, and she gave one last shuttering breath, and died with a smile on her lips. Remarkably, she still gave birth to a daughter only minutes later. Zacarias has raised this child as best as he could, not knowing how she could possibly exist, but vowing that he would care for her as he cared for her mother.
Anything else: Since he has learned his true name, his memory is slowly being restored.

History: Born of a dead woman by pain and misery, she has been raised by Zacarias and now follows him everywhere he goes, to his amused annoyance. Despite Zacarias' calm instrunctions, she has turned out very differently than her mother. While she looks innocent, she has the foulest mouth anyone has ever seen, going so far as to invent new expletives in order to make up for the rather short list of existing ones. She also has a tendency to talk too much to people who offend her.

They only emerge at night, when their powers are at their strongest.

History: It has always existed. It came first in creation of the Upper Realms, and has acted as God's liason from Heaven to Galen and Hell for all of eternity. Utterly andriginous, It is neither male nor female, and has never seen anyone as such. It refers to everyone as simply 'little one', except for God, which It calls 'God' (duh). It does however have a malevolent side. It sees everything as imperfecction, and is goign about it's duty. Create. Destroy. Rebuild.

Race: centaur
Looks: Eliae stands around 15 hands high with a tanned olive complexion. She has thick, long black hair that runs down her back, usually kept in a french braid and adorned with large flowers. Her eyes are a light green with a hint of yellow, and her nose is littered with light freckles. Her lower horse-half is that of a black arabian filly, with one white sock on her back right leg.
Clothing: Eliae usually wears a light colored tunic to set off her tanned skin and dark coat.
Weapon: usually found carrying an oversized b*****d sword and several smaller weapons. Her specialty is a halberd or a longbow.

Looks:Tall, about 6'3", and thinly muscled with long wavy blonde hair down to his waist. Amber eyes beneath thin pointed eyebrows on an angular face. Pale complexion with many scars, although none on his face.
Clothing:Tends to wear robes over casual, functional black shirt and pants. Often wears light armor.
Weapon:alternates between the use of a bagh nakh (tiger claw), and an urumi (multiple bladed whip-like sword). also carries a stiletto.
Side razz rimarily neutral but completely ruthless.
Personality:Usually calm, collected and smooth, but very prone to bouts of insanity, especially when exposed to violence.
Origin:A violent human tribe obsessed with military might
History:Born the child of a slave kept as spoils of battle. Iudas was mercilessly treated as a youth. As he grew in the world of warfare, he became a quick study of battle, soon becoming an officer, those who questioned his blood were swiftly and brutally murdered. He killed his way to power, gaining fame and status until he himself was nearly killed by his own serfs. By sheer force of will he kept himself alive long enough to force a captive vampire to turn him. His life remained a crimson streak, until he met a young Russian noblewomen named Pietra. He became enamored with her and when her family was killed in a revolt, Iudas saved her, turning her and caring for her.

Looks: Very old, tanned, weather beaten skin. Gaunt appearence with leanly muscled arms that are out of proportion to his body. Eyes somewhat sunken, permanent bags around them. Hands are very large, long, with gnarled joints.
Clothing: Wears a weather-worn brown sleeveless tunic, much patched with colors that are obviously much paler than they used to be. Baggy brown trousers in a similar state of disrepair cinched tight with a long sash. Usually wears a wide brimmed, fraying straw hat. Wears a plain dull gold ring on the ring finger of his left hand. Wears metal bracers on each forearm covered in rotting wood.
Weapon: Carries only a shobo (metal rods with a ring-like grip used for striking pressure points), and a pouch of sand mixed with powdered spices for blinding enemies.
Side: Good
Personality: Senile, often forgetful of what his intent was, or who he is. Has acquired a vast store of knowledge and wisdom, when he is in the state of mind to remember it. Often slow and ponderous, but his eccentricity sometimes makes him extremely unpredictable.
Origin: A wanderer, known widely as a vague rumor of an old man traveling the world.
History: He doesn't remember where he is from or anything about his youth. His only clue to his past is the ring he wears.

Name: SBP17, the Kinetic Dagger
Age: (unknown)
Race: Warforged, male
Looks: A warforged is essentially a sort of golem made of wood and metal. SBP17 is made primarily of ironwood, adamantine, and mythril. Because of their construction, the warforged do not need food, drink, sleep, or oxygen. The warforged are typically humanoid in shape. Their minds are trained in the ways of war and combat. While their vocabulary is limited compared to that of other races, they are very fluent in military terminology. For example, while "playing" or "love" are very abstract terms to them, "training" and "comradery" are frequently used. The greatest fear of the warforged is death, as it is an end to experience. Because a warforged does not sleep, it does not know of a time where his enviornment was not changing. Also, because of their nature, they are very suseptable to boredom, always needing to do something to keep their mind occupied.

Personality: The personality and actions of warforged are unusual and vary between individuals, but can often be taken as cold or heartless by others.

Wether the runes have some sort of magical purpose or are just decorative, no one knows. He is fluent in many common languages due to his longevity, although he only speaks when necessary

Name: Arianrhod Leavenworth
Age: 20-23
Race: Half dark-elf, half human
Looks: Dark skinned with long, wavy black hair. Her ears are pointed, but not as defined
as an elf’s. Her eyes are a dark grey colour. She is rather short, a trait assumed to come from her mother's side of the family.
Clothing: Tight clothes, not for looks, but more for movability. She prefers long sleeved blouses with a darker coloured vest on top. Generally she wears pants. Leather armor is what she uses for defence. Rhoddy does have a soft spot for nice dresses, however, even though she feels self conscious if she gets to wear them. She has silver hooped earrings and a star pendant given to her by Kian. The only other jewellery she wears is a string of hemp cord with five unique beads tied around her ankle. This is most often hidden from view.
Weapon: She uses a weapon similar to the Shaolin spade, a staff with a flat,
bell-shaped blade on one end and an outward-facing crescent blade on the other. She has trained
extensively with this weapon, though she can switch back to just a normal staff if the occasion
calls for it.
Side: Neutral.
Personality: Calm, clear-headed, and cheery, Rhoddy is a very strong willed girl. However, sarcasm and eccentricity runs deep in her family... She can be very creative and can come up with a plan if no one else can. She always wanted to be the knight in shining armor, not the princess, in childhood games. When things are out of her control or she is overwhelmed, Rhoddy loses her confidence and gives in to self-doubt. Especially if it was one of her plans that backfired.
Origin: The village of Tanllwyth, near the Tywyll forest.
History: Arianrhod, known as Rhoddy to her friends, was cast out and exposed by her mother soon after she was born. Her mother was a human mage who had been victim of a dark elf's rape. Upon seeing that the child was a 'monster,' she left the baby to die deep within the forest that stood on the edge of town. She was found by a military officer who was on a training trip and taken in by his family.
Anything else: Her adoptive mother was killed while Rhoddy was very young protecting her, a fact she has never forgotten. Because of her desire to not need protection, she started to train herself in martial arts and magic. She can now wield the staff with deadly precision, along with fire magic. Occasionally, she can use the darker magic from her elven linage, but with generally explosive results. Most often, she will only use magic as a last resort. While Rhoddy and Dai were raised as siblings, they often act more like best friends.

Along with Dai, she is currently on a journey to find her childhood friend, Kian, who disappeared a few years ago. They both work as mercenaries to bring in a paycheck.


Name: Dafydd Leavenworth
Age: 22-25
Race: Human
Looks: Long-ish dirty-blond hair with bangs and dark blue eyes. He's very light in complextion and has a small body type, though he's not really short. His body is more compact muscles than overly muscled.
Clothing: He is much more self-conscious about what he wears than Rhoddy. Dai will wear anything that he 'looks good' in, but prefers white collared shirts with sleeves that cut off at his elbow and ornate vests or over coats on top. He also uses leather armor when on the move. He has one earring, a silver stud given to him by Rhoddy. He also has a hemp cord anklet that looks exactly like Rhoddy's.
Weapon: Whatever new invention he has made... and daggers, since the said inventions don't always work.
Side: Neutral.
Personality: He's pretty smart and loves all things mechanical. Dai's a little of an inventor, even though his inventions don't always work. He does have a way with making technology work, but he hasn't developed that ability due to his military training. He's very rational, which gets him in trouble when up against Rhoddy's crazy schemes, but he generally goes along with her in the end. Dai loves flirting with the opposite sex. He even flirts with Rhoddy, though not seriously. He is prone to be a work-a-holic, possibly because he feels he never measures up to standards.
Origin: The capital city, Rhinwedd.
History: Dafydd, known as Dai to his friends, is the only blood child to a well known military officer. As such, he is expected to follow his father's footsteps. However, military life has never suited him very well and his father asked him to take a year off and explore other options. He feels as if he disappointed his father because of this. It was then Rhoddy suggested they go find their missing childhood friend in an effort to get his mind off things.
Anything else: He, Rhoddy, and Kian were inseparable when they were younger. He learned how to defend himself at Rhoddy's insistence that she needed a sparring partner. He is rather good with daggers, but not the best. He is much better at slight of the hands and wind magic, which he has a strong affinity for. He could have become a pretty good thief, if not for his background.

He does have a strong interest in Alerean technology, but he has yet to pursue any of it. He might find he's very good at waking up old technology if he did...
